Why the DoD would ever allow a contract to go through this company (Hi-Line Moving Services), I do not know. In the 30 plus years I have been moving with the military, they are by far, the worst I have ever experienced. From day one till the end, it was nothing but problems with them. Initially, I called multiple times, left voicemails, and sent emails all trying to get an estimate of where my house-hold goods were and when I could expect to receive them, to no avail. Not a single reply in any form. The logistics agency who was overseeing my move, could not even get a response from them for over a week. Once they did give a response, they set the delivery date of my house-hold goods without any input of mine or my schedule. On the day of the delivery, a 65 semi was dispatched to my apartment on a narrow street with no throughput, and the driver acted like it was my fault he was sent out with no shuttle or way of easily getting my goods to me. He also was not informed by his dispatcher/managers of the fact that a second delivery was going to have to be made to my storage unit. I reached out to the overseeing logistics company who contacted hi-lines dispatchers to sort it out and was notified that a shuttle would be used to get the stuff in to my storage at least. It never showed up for the workers. The crew themself was friendly and worked hard, at least; however, they were, just like their company as a whole, completely unorganized and not fitting to be a part of any logistical chain anywhere. They did not keep accurate records of what stuff they brought in out of the truck, seemed annoyed when I wouldnt take their word for it that they saw it at some point in the day, and forgot to bring a copy of the paperwork or a carbon copy for me to keep at the end of the delivery. I was given nothing at the end of the day to show for the fact that there were nearly 20 items that were unaccounted for at the time of their departure. It was after business hours by the time they left, and I was told that I could try contacting Hi-Line, the company who couldnt respond to me over the last two weeks, to get a copy in the morning to attest to the fact that I was missing a bunch of my household goods. Do not ever use Hi-Line. If they are assigned to you. Switch.Dont believe me? Go read all the other scathing reviews plastered over the internet and look at their average 2 stars.
