I used ****** search to find a extension specialist and found Hair Affair salon and spoke with *** and told her I wanted to have someone look at my tape in extensions. She told me to come in and when I arrived she looked at them and said the placement was wrong and to come back in a hour for her to take them out. When I arrived she started taking them out with spray and moroccan oil. I questioned her as she started working on the second one and asked her if she had the proper solution to take them out and she told me no she then began to put aerosol and some other product in my hair that I still do not know what it is for this day. She then took acetone on a cotton ball and put it in my hair on the very last one she took me over to the bowl to rinse my hair and dumped a whole bottle of acetone. Not only on my scalp but my hair and brushed my hair through it. Later on, I found out that this woman only had a provisionary license meeting. She hadnt taken the written test to be a licensed cosmetologist yet and it was only her and I at the salon. I lost about 4 1/2 5 inches of length on my hair and it is about 60% thinner due to what she had done to my hair. I had to go see a dermatologist who examined my scalp from the red spots of the acetones it is taking me 9 months to heal from the damage that she has done to my hair, and it is still very very thin.
