We have legal action pending. Hired to perform a couple drywall repairs, paint, replace carpet and refinish wooden flooring. He didn't sand the floors enough and where he did sand there were drum marks. He also used our dirty mop to apply finish so we have all types of odd discoloration and places that with bare wood. He ripped out some of our carpet and took money to order carpet but failed to produce evidence he ordered it weeks later. When we couldn't find carpet on order by him or by the item we selected at the store he claimed he ordered it, he ghosted us. He ripped some trim out, broke some and the trim he attempted to reinstall either got broken or mismatched. Nails everywhere too. For paint we have over spray everywhere and a bunch of spots missed. His drywall repairs have mesh showing and he caused more damage to other portions when hammering trim that didn't fit. An inconvenience is that he works odd hours so we were either living in a camper or basement while he was going trial and error until 9pm. Please do not trust him for anything requiring any sort of skill. All said and done between pocketing money for carpet that was never ordered, work that was never performed or needed repairs and damages we are seeking over $11k in damages he incurred against us.
