I contacted Stillwater Landscaping in early Mar 2024 to discuss our home landscaping project. An appointment was scheduled for Mar 27th for ***** (at Stillwater Landscaping) to come to the house and discuss the project.March 27: ***** from Stillwater Landscaping came to our house (*********************************************) to discuss the project. (***** was 45 minutes late in arriving to that appointment.) The next step was ***** was going to propose a plan within 2 weeks.April 8: **** emailed and called Stillwater Landscaping to see if they had any questions, needed anything, and how the next steps were coming along, per the April 10 "due date".April 8 27: We never heard back from Stillwater Landscaping. No returned phone call, no email reply. **** and **** assumed that Stillwater Landscaping was no longer interested. On April 25, our home builder found us a landscaper that we decided to work with and in those 2 days (April 25/26) was uber-responsive and able to meet with us, and provide a full (fixed fee) bid for the landscaping project, with a plan to begin the work on April 28.April 28: Stillwater emailed a 1-page, very simple design (much more basic & lacking than the landscaper wed just started working with had provided to us within 48 hours of meeting him). I replied to Stillwater immediately after receiving their email to inform them that after never getting a response from them in early April, we moved on with a different landscaper, and no longer need Stillwaters services.July 23: Stillwater never acknowledged my April 8th or April 28th communications. Stillwater sent another email requesting payment for a basic design that we never knew wed be receiving and do not need. I replied to ******/***** (Stillwater Landscaping) again explaining the situation. Again, with no acknowledgement from them July 29: Stillwater has informed us that they are contacting collections about this invoice that we will not pay. We are disputing this.
