  Paid this contractor $2,900 in mid-June 2023 to do a paint job for me prior to listing my house for sale. This amount represents the entire cost of the job, including labor and materials. The job was promised to be completed by 6/25/23, but as of 7/18/23, this job has not yet been completed. The contractor has changed the completion date nearly a dozen times, promising the job to be completed on each new date. Whenever each deadline is not reached, *** tried to contact him but my calls and texts are ignored, sometimes for days at a time. Ive needed to cancel my family vacation due to these delays as well as reschedule many different steps in the home listing process. When I had his payments ready for him, he came to my house right away, but ever since, hes been almost impossible to reach. My desired resolution is for the contractor to complete the job and compensate me for the delays, unprofessionalism, unreliability, and broken promises.

  Gave deposit for exterior paint on my home on 04/27/2023 in the amount of $8000.00. Owner was supposed to show up 04/29/2023 to begin work. I contacted him at **** 04/29/2023 to confirm he was going to start the job. I did not hear from him until I tried to call him after **** on 04/29/2023 and he informed me of a family emergency. I acknowledged circumstances beyond control and waited to hear back from him. Attempted to contact him 05/04/2023 with no response. I called and then text again on 05/05/2023 requesting a refund on my job and was informed that he did not have it as it was spent on paying other charge accounts. He promised to start my job the following week and would call me 05/08/2023 to set the day but still did not call. I sent a message to him 05/09/2023 without response and made several attempts to call without answer. My wife reached him 05/10/2023 and he promised to start the job 05/11/2023 but again did not show. However he did respond to a text message from her and assured her that he would be on site 05/12/2023 at ****. He never showed. **** not answer his phone, text messages or messaging on his social media.
