We diagnosed and fixed an oil leak for this customer and informed him at the time of service that additional oil leaks may present themselves after the first leak was fixed.  However, if the vehicle is leaking as much oil as he states, we feel there is either an internal oil leak or the engine is burning oil.  Therefore, we would like to start with an oil consumption test to verify how much oil is being lost.  We have stated this as the next course of action to the consumer, but he doesnt want to bring his vehicle in for us to complete this test.  We are willing to work with him on the cost of repairs, but we want to make sure we arent fixing an external oil leak just to find out there are internal or additional oil leaks.

They never asked me to run another test they only gave me an amount for the repair. I would ask who looks at an oil leak and doesn't check the oil pan which is the problem now according to the dye test. He never offered me to run that test he only said down to ****** for the repair.
They also never ever at any point told me there might be an oil leak after I paid $*******. in fact their bill of sale says oil levels holding! How is that telling me there may be more oil leaks??
The issue is they never fixed what they said they fixed. The vehicle is not burning oil it's only got ****** MI on it.
Whatever oil leaks are on this vehicle I trusted them to find and fix at the amount of ******* according to their estimate and they acted like it was fixed when I left. Even my receipt says oil levels holding and they are not.
I will be happy for them to bring it in but they never offered that not once, this was either ignorance on fixing Touareg lls or bait and switch fix a little bit of it and then have me come back in and pay more and more and more. Either ignorance of not knowing how to work on a Touareg ll (they're not many at all in this country), or deception by saying the job was done knowing it wasn't, I should not be responsible to pay the price for their mistake.
The point is they never once told me there might be other leaks! Not once!! They gave me a receipt that said the oil levels are holding and I'm leaking about a quart a week right now. On an oil change I'm supposed to get 50 to ****** miles on 7 quarts of oil and I'm losing that before I even use it a thousand miles.
I went to them for goods and services and came out worse than when I went in. As a senior citizen how is that Justice from a company for goods and services or good consumer practice?

I will add one more thing. Kalispell Volkswagen had my vehicle for repair almost 3 weeks. In which time I lost days at work. They had plenty of time to discern the problem so they either knew or they don't know what they're doing with a Touareg ll.
I would ask how many Touareg ll's they have worked on in the last 2 years. Not a Touareg that's a 6 cylinder and a completely different vehicle. My motor is made by Porsche.
