      Montana Sky's uptime is absolutely phenomenal! I have never had a better ISP since I moved from ******, but I do have ONE complaint. I have been receiving a TON of spam the last 3 or 4 months and I contacted "customer support" to see what they could do to alleviate the problem. I got ******** and she said she would ask a technician. The support I received was to go to the Montanasky.net website and read the "self-help" information concerning the Barracuda spam filter. Well, that in my book is NOT customer support. I wanted to talk to a technician, not someone that asks a technician and then get second hand information. That was NO help whatsoever. Next time I'll call ********* and talk to an actual technician and maybe I could forward him some of the emails and they could take a look at them and do something on the Barracuda spam filter to stop the issue. I was NOT impressed with the support I received today.

      You should be getting less spam now.   If spammers would quit sending it to you that would be the ultimate goal... but we can't control spammers.

      ******** Service Provider that locks you into a contract and provides substandard internet. They never provide the speeds they promise and do not fix things when there are problems, they simply state, "everything looks fine." They know that they are the only option for many people in rural Montana so they don't care. Once a better option comes to the area they will definitely go out of business.

      Customer subscribed to the lowest speed economy package that was advertised to support one streaming device and a a few mobile devices. Customer connect more that 15 other devices and complete used up the purchased bandwidth. Then called to complain the internet was slow, We responded a number of times to make sure our equipment was working properly and it was. We cared to let the customer know they need to turn off unneeded devices and the connection would perform just fine as it was sold to them for. Customer decided to disconnect. The only contract they had was for us waiving installation for a 24 month commitment or they could pay the installation and have no commitment of which they were aware by their signature and not force into. Good luck.

      We suffered through two other ISPs and MontanaSky we found is breath of fresh air! You can talk to the owner or a support tech and they all are typical down to earth Montana people with a no bs attitude for getting things done and that resulted in fast reliable service which we brag about to all our friends, Oh yeah and the best wifi we have ever had in our home. MontanaSky Rocks!

      We have have had Montana sky for a few months now with nothing but problems. I was on the phone with customer service and the guy completely belittled me. He has zero knowledge of how WiFi works. I told him I wasnt comfortable with how I was being spoken to and he said I was talking all over him because there was a lag in their phone line and I had to deal with it because he was the owner!!! How could a man let alone an OWNER of a company talk to a woman this way. Complete arrogant baboon of a man.

      We are so happy you listened to our recommendations about your wifi placement, because even though you though we were crazy and knew nothing about wifi, working with you to fix your issues. We offer support to all out customers and usually fix every up fine if folks are willing to try, Glad our service has been working well for you.

      A representative of this company knocked on my door in the AM hours on Wednesday or Thursday at the low income **************** 2 apts. where the rules are no soliciting - claiming to offer a completely free **************** for those who qualify. So I called the company and spoke with a female operator and asked about the package and she tried to sell me more, I asked specifically about the completely free package and she seemed ok till the end where she seemed to hang up with no courtesy. Well I called back because I was going to inquire about maybe adding to the free package and got a person who identified themselves as the owner, his name was **** I believe. Well I went on to inquire of the package that the man at my door offered, the owner became belligerent about the completely free package saying;"It's not free the government is paying for it and when they're done paying for it you will have to pay for it" in a very rude voice. I responded with; "You sound like a hater"Montana sky owner **** responds; "I am!" I explained to him there's no soliciting in the apts. and if I catch his workers doing it again they will be thrown off the property. On Friday I opened my door to check my mail and this was on the ground at my door... So now they're littering at my apts. And still there'sno soliciting at the plaza 2 apt.s ****... I will be informing the manager as I already have once to correct the issue. Then I will call the police if it's not corrected.

      Sometimes folks just are a bit over the top and have shown that constantly in the community. Glad you got settled down and could cope with life after your encounter
