We had an agreement with ******** Drilling *** to have a well drilled in February or March of this year. The arrangements were made over the course of multiple phone calls in October of 2021, about 5 months ago. We were given every assurance that we were on their calendar and they would contact us after the first of the year to solidify a drilling date. January came and went and didn't hear from them. We started calling them around the first of February. They will not answer their phone, ever. We have left multiple messages reminding them who we are and the agreement we had. They will not return our calls. This is now having a serious detrimental effect on our house building schedule. If they no longer wanted our business, all they needed to do was pick up the phone and tell us. We could have moved on to another company. But they couldn't be bothered to follow the most basic business curtesy of giving us a quick call, or calling us back, to let us know they no longer wanted our business. We're now having trouble finding a well drilling company that can drill for us this spring. Our entire house build is now in jeopardy and of being thrown off schedule. With rising interest rates, this scheduling delay could end up costing us 10's or even 100's of thousands of dollars.Business response

To Whom It May ***************** have spoken with ********************* today regarding this issue. When he called us about drilling a well
for him, we said time frame would be winter or late spring 2022, but there was no agreement. Our
industry is at the mercy of mother nature, and cannot promise drilling dates due to variations in
the drilling process/weather/supplies. We are not currently able to drill ***** on the Flathead
Indian Reservation.
The Water Compact is not issuing permits for drilling at this time so we are unable to proceed with
the well.
