Project deposit made 4-9-2021. I was told the remodel would take apx 12 weeks. It is now 8-17-2022 and my family and I have been living in a 1 room trailer along the edge of the property. To date this company has been given $402,389.82 in cash that were for materials, labor and depoaits. The $62,790 deposit for ******** cabinets given 9-3-21 has still not been given to Huntwood cabinet maker. The $25,000 given for a pool 6-16-2021...I was told I would have it installed by 7-2021...still no pool. 1-28-2022 I paid $50,500 for flooring, backsplash and install of said items...**** told the tile installer today he was not getting paid for work done until I paid Norm and that he needed to invoice me. Found out today that the roof he installed over the new build is NOT attached so a good find and it would fly off like peeling a bananna. I found out yestaerday that the blow in insulation I paid him to do is 6'-8' from the edges of the walls. A toilet removed by his employee in March of 2022...valve leaking right away they let continue to leak until August 2022 when they had a plumber replace the valve. Causing damage to lower leval bedroom and pantry. Was told they would take care of damage later. Roof shingles added over the winter and NO vent cap put on furnace vent...everytime it rains it leaks into laundry room ruining cabinets and flooring. Again told they would take care of it. Back deck...no ****** between roof and home. Concrete pour 10-2021 was a complete Hack Job with multipe drain/pooling water issues. Was told they would have the concrete works insurance look at it. This has not happened, The list goes on. The contractor disapears for weeks at a time. Does not respond to texts or phone calls. As if he is using the money I gave him to do other things. Many Many safety and code violations. A clear case of theft and deceitful practices. Your system only allows me to upload 1 photo so after claim is opened I will email the rest. Thank you for your time.

I am rejecting this response because:

Parmiter has not addressed even one issue of my complaint filed with the BBB.  An accounting of the funds given to him, $402,389.82,  has been requested multiple times.  Parmiter said he would give this to me in May of 2022, I still do not have it.

      Sincerely,

      Better Business Bureau:

I need to reject the offer of Arbitration for complaint ID ********, after reading the 30 page phamplet about the Rules of Binding Arbitration, this case does not qualify for arbitration.

Parmiter and Son's Cocstruction has failed to address even one of the issues in the complaint that was opened in August of 2022.  Norm Parmiter himself told me in September of 2022 that he was going to personally take over the project.  Since that time Parmiter and Sons Construction has done ZERO work on my home.

Parmiter and Son's Construction has been asked since January of 2022 for an accounting.  May of 2022 I was told I would have one in 2 weeks.  Here it is February 2023 and I still do not have an accounting.

Parmiter and Son's Construction asked for and was given $62,790 as a deposit for custom cabinets 09-2021, as of 02-2023 this has not been given to the cabinet company....this is theft and deceptive practices.  They refuse to refund.

Parmiter and Son's Construction asked for and was given payment in full for a pool in 06-2021 as of 02-2023 I have no pool and NO work has even bugun for one.  They refuse to refund.  This is theft and deceptive practices.

Parmiter and Son's Construction was present for the pouring of the flatwork concrete in 10-2021.  Parmiter informed me he had filed a claim against the concrete workers insurance company in 11-2021....this was a lie as I later found out that the concrete worker he hired was non-compliant with the state of Montana.  As the slope of the concrete is going toward the homes foundation this "claim seeking compinsation" and does not qualify for arbitration. More deceptive practices by Parmiter.

Please see photos in the **** review

      Sincerely,
