    We were moving from *******, ** to *****. Based on the quote we received from Montana Transfer, we hired them to move all of our belongings. The first problem is the quote was not accurate and it ended up being 6k more. We did not know this until we were almost to *****. They demanded they be paid in full for the work upon delivery of our things. It was never mentioned that all of our things would not be delivered. We found this out when they showed up to unload . They were paid in full, despite the 6k increase and not all of our belongings were delivered. The rest of our things was supposed to be delivered in the next 10 days. It has been over a month and they will not give us any updates and do not respond to request for more information . Matter of fact. I was told to put pressure on someone else. I have emailed and they have not responded. have they stole our belongings? How do we get resolution.

    Complete nightmare! As there are not many options for a cross-country move originating in Montana, when I was told the week of Labor Day was not possible as it is the busiest week of the year I rearranged my entire move to accommodate Montana Transfers schedule with a load date of 9/2 and a delivery date of 9/20. I changed my plane tickets, moved up my last day of work, and rescheduled the closing date on the sale of my home in Montana to accommodate Montana Transfer. Late afternoon on 9/1 I received a call to notify me a truck had broken down and it will probably be Friday (9/3) before my home would be loaded. I explained this was not acceptable as the buyer of my home would be taking possession on 9/3. I was told by the owner that his employee should not have promised me a date of loading, but instead a 2-3 day window. After numerous phone calls (all initiated by myself, although Id been promised several times to be called back with updates) with the owner on 9/2, my house was still not packed. In fact, it was not loaded until the afternoon of 9/3.To add insult to injury, my items were not delivered until October 1st, costing over $2,500 more than quoted, with damaged items and ZERO concern or apology from ****** who is apparently the owner of this business. My items were crated and shipped (resulting in a MUCH heavier load) after sitting at their warehouse for over 2 weeks.My advice: Do whatever you have to, even if it means loading and driving a rental truck yourself, to avoid using this place!!!
