    May 31, 2022 at 7:08 pm We purchased the extended insurance when buying a 2011 ***** Fe with 36k mi in late 2019. A few weeks ago, the alternator died, the extended *** which I heard is also owned by ***** Nissan Hyundai Missoula owner who lives out of State, refused to pay because I was not 40 miles plus away from the Missoula dealership and I had it repaired at a certified mechanic in Missoula because ****** could not get me in for 2 1/2 weeks. Theyassured me I could take it to any certified mechanic in Missoula if I could get in earlier. I had to trickle charge it at home just to get it to ****** to have them tell that they were out weeks just to diagnose it. The service reps at ****** told me that I could take my car to any certified mechanic in Missoula, assuring me that that was a benefit of this Policy. I paid a lot of money for this ***icy for 54 mo and no one at Nissan in Missoula told me it would not pay unless I was 40 miles from ****** Hyundai in Missoula. AND ****** Hyundai in Missoula could not even get my car in for even diagnosing for 2.5 weeks-that did not include a new repair date. I had an appt with them but cancelled it because they said the ***icy would cover the repair if I could get in sooner somewhere else. I am 75, widowed recently and without a vehicle, so decided to take it to a certified mechanic because they said I could and it would pay. The Missoula certified mechanic diagnosed it as a faulty alternator I got it repaired by this certified mechanic in Missoula because it was already in their shop, I owed them for the diagnosis and I felt Nissan Hyundai in Missoula would stand behind their ***icy as they had just assured me. Now I am out 500 dollars that shouldve been covered under the Policy I bought when I purchased the ***** Fe at ****** Hyundai in Missoula but the Service manager there refused any compensation and blatantly said that I had been told it would be not be covered at another certified mechanic. Totally Untrue!!!!!!!!
