I completed a lease buyout with this business in September 2023. During my lease, I purchased a lease-end protection plan. In May 2023, I called and spoke with my contact ***** about my end of lease options. I specifically asked about if the lease end protection ($1500) would be reimbursed to me regardless of if I purchased my leased vehicle or turned it in to lease another vehicle. I was told that Hyundai would reimburse me anything I was owed from that plan. I asked if I needed to do anything prior to lease end to claim the lease end protection reimbursement, and I was told I did not. I called the business in October 2023 to ask when I would receive my $1500 after purchasing my vehicle. This is a large amount of money that was promised, and financial decisions were made based on assurance it would be paid to me. ***** claimed he did not know anything about that, and that I would have to speak with their finance guy. I left him a voicemail that he did not return. After a couple attempts, I was able to reach him, ****. **** told me the policy would not be paid to me, and I was given misinformation in May. He said regardless of purchasing or turning in the lease, the lease-end protection was not paid to customers, which is not what is stated on the paper contract I signed. He said the only way the policy could be refunded was if it had been cancelled while still active, but nothing could be done after lease end. He escalated my concerns to the General Manager, ******. After a couple weeks without hearing anything, I called and left ****** a voicemail. He returned my call on 11/21/23. He apologized for the misinformation, but again stated the policy wouldnt have paid me $1500 regardless of end of lease decision, which is not stated on my contract. He said he would reach out to his corporate contact about refunding me $995 that I paid for the lease end protection. He promised to call back by 11/22/23. WE have been attempting to deal with Missoula Hyundai and Hyundai *** for over 13 weeks regarding repairs, service campaigns/recalls, diagnosed engine failure, lack of communication and dismal customer service.Our car has been in the ***************************************** shop since June 27th and we currently have no status or update available. This is our primary vehicle and attempting to function without it over this time has been very costly and stressful. We have repeatedly asked for a loaner or rental car and have been denied.We have sent documentation to both these entities with our questions and concerns and have had no luck getting any helpful information or to be even able to talk with anyone.Customer response

We had also wanted to file this same complaint with Hyundai *** but werent sure how to do that and couldnt find them as a choice in the online complaint system.
