On March 28, 2022, I hired Gossett Construction (************************************************) to build a straw bale timber frame shop with radian heat floor, column drain, and metal roof. Gossett Construction scope of work was ordering supplies, ground preparation, install floor drain, pour concrete, put up the building and roof for $60,508.00. I paid $36,595.00 with an outstanding balance of $23,913.00 to be paid after work completed and satisfaction. After Gossett finished roofing, he is gone. Gossett hired ******* ***** Attorneys and filed lien on my property before I had a chance to check his work.Gossett made a lot of mistakes. Gossett excavated the ground that appeared to be too small for the building. I asked him to check his math. At the same time, I found out that Gossett ordered the building trusts too small, but he could not return them. We had to use it for the building and build extentions on them to increase the dimensions.Gossett put a wall on the wrong side of the building which left nails that needed to be removed. Gossett's worker hit and broke one of my outdoor water hydrants. He buried it up and did not say a word to me. He came and replaced a new hydrant.Later, I found out that Gossett poured the concrete floor without slope which causes water to pool up away from the drain. He was told two times that I wanted the floor to slope toward the trench drain which he installed, just like the brewery building which he inspected. This building has a water hydrant inside of it and a floor trench drain. The whole point is to wash down equipment! Gossett ordered and pour concrete slab. I asked Gossett to fix the concrete floor, and I will pay him the rest of the money.
