      Here's the full story Around May 15th I had broken my phone screen and needed it fixed ASAP. I reached out to ****** at Allentech, he said he could fix the phone.I gave him my credit card information over the phone so he could purchase a screen from his supplier for ****** and have the phone fixed 2 days after purchase of the screen.He said he would call when the screen came in and 2 days late I hadn't heard anything so I called him. He said that his supplier was out of stock so he placed an order directly from the manufacturer, the first problem was that the manufacturer is in ***** and I needed the phone fixed ASAP and couldn't wait weeks or even months for that shipment to come in. The second problem was that he didn't call me to verify with me if I would like to make that purchase and wait, he just placed it anyway. Had he asked me I would have never permitted that purchase from his manufacturer and been ok with waiting. My phone was basically inoperable and I need it for work. After he told me this I said that I could not wait for an overseas shipment and that I needed a refund on that purchase and I will go elsewhere to get it fixed quicker. ****** said he didn't have enough funds to refund me at the time (to which I was very understanding) and he would pay me back later in the week when his wife got paid. That was 3 and a half months ago. I reached out about 2 weeks ago and he said he would get me paid back and still hasn't. I brought up the fact that this should have never happened and that he shouldn't have made that order without consulting with me. He responded saying "I don't need your permission to make that purchase". I don't think he has any intention of paying me back unfortunately so I am forced to go to the next step now.       Fixed screen of device but broke other components of the device. All cameras worked until the company fixed screen.

      This phone had significant damage from being crushed. The screen replacement went flawlessly. After fixing the screen, it was discovered that the front facing camera wasn't working. I explained to the customer that it was likely damaged when the screen was damaged. The customer states that the camera was working when he brought me the phone, but there is no way to know that, since the screen was so badly damaged. The camera cannot be tested if the screen doesn't work. Nevertheless, I ordered and installed a new camera module to try and appease this difficult customer. When the replacement didn't work, I did extensive troubleshooting and research to find out what the issue could be. I was able to determine that the camera isn't working due to damage of the main board sustained when the screen was crushed. I informed the customer, and offered to send the phone in to the manufacturer for repair. The customer declined, and attempted to get me to purchase him a new, upgraded phone. I explained to him that I will not buy him a new phone, since I am not responsible for the damage to his phone. But I did offer to cover the manufacturer's repair fee for him ($99), to which he declined. At this point it became clear to me that he was just trying to get a new phone out of me. He continued to argue that I should buy him a new phone and became unreasonable, so I ended our communication.

      I have repaired countless cell phones, including several of this same model, with 100% success and not one customer complaint. It is my expert opinion that the phone sustained more than just screen damage, causing the front facing camera to no longer work. Furthermore, the customer states that all the phone's cameras no longer work, which is simply not true. I tested all of the other cameras extensively, and they work fine. The camera app on the phone does become unresponsive due to the front camera not functioning, causing inability to switch to the other cameras. There is a workaround for this, which I explained in detail to the customer.
