Dropped off watch for repair on 3/27/24. Retrieved repaired watch on 7/22/24. Watch was damaged (seconds no longer hack as designed) during repair. Business is difficult to work with, does not communicate adequately. Communications are frequently confrontational and rude.Here are some highlights from our communication 4 months after I dropped it off:from me: So, I guess you didnt see my last couple of emails. Wish I had another way to contact you. Perhaps if I use the word Police again, you will respond. As I mentioned before, the watch you repaired no longer has hacking seconds. What do you think we should do about this? From what Ive gathered from the BBB website of your customer complaints, ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** you will first avoid replying to me (check), and then offer me a refund. And yes, I also read the positive reviews of your work on yelp. Thats why I went to you in the first place.So about that refund. I dont want you holding it for another four months. If you wanna bring this over today I will see what you mean by hacking seconds according to the computer that I just looked at your history. Watch is running well within specs.I reply: By hacking seconds, I mean that when you pull the winder all the way out, the second hand doesnt stop. You know, so you can synchronize it with atomic time. This was functional when I brought it to you. Because of the risk of you further botching the job, I reiterate my refund request. I have been completely professional with you. I am also completely done with you. Refund my money so I can have it repaired. RW: I know what it means and if you pull the crown out too fast a lot of times you will bend that part and venture to say thats what happened in your case. No refund available ,youve been a total nasty person
