I received a phone call from a representative of the Assurance group offering me $100 for a appointment with a agent. The agent showed up and at the end of the presentation he offered me two gift cards from ******** I went to ******* and at checkout I found out there was nothing on the cards. I called ***************** the agent who had came to my house. He said it was a mistake and he would drop off a new card. He never showed up. I called the office and they said they never offered me $100 and that $5 dollars is what they offer and it was the agent's problem. They said they would pull the tape of the conversation and get back with me, they never did. I called the agent and the office again and the call went to voicemail with no response.

I will contact the agent, but the gift card amount is not advertised on the mailing and the agent typically offers a $5 card to keep in line with the insurance laws concerning rebating.  They cannot offer an amount that *** cover a premium for the policy that they *** take.

Maybe 3 months or more I had Damion J. O**** and Jess D****** come out to my house. Basically I was looking for supplemental to offset my ******** *********. I was told it was not financially a good idea. They also said I would receive a Walmart gift card. In all of my attempts it never happened. I called Damion, with no call back. Then I called Jess and she took my name/address and said she would give it to Damion for him to send. Later called Damion, and he sounded upset that I would call, and told me she would send. The next 5 or 6 calls to Jess over a period of time she never called back. Finally got a hold of Damion, and he told me it was sent a while back, I told him I never received, and he said sorry about that and hung up, and I guessed blocked me as times I tried before his line was busy. I am a minister and would not cheat you all out of one penny, but with all the trouble they put me through, and rudeness is why I picked a $50 gift card from Walmart. I have lived in this house since 1996, and I do get all of my mail. I seriously believe that 99.999999/etc% the reason I did not get the card is since I did not buy something from them, and think this may be an on going problem.

These agents are independent agents and are instructed to provide a gift card of nominal value to those that give them the opportunity to present their insurance products.  There is no amount advertised so it is up to the agent as to what amount to offer.  We do limit how much it can be so that it doesn't put the agent in a situation that looks like they are rebating the premium.  Most of the cards offered are $5, not $50, which would be more than allowed.  I have reached out to the agents and their manager to get the card sent out again.  Thank you.

I am rejecting this response because: As I said they put me to a lot of trouble, and found to be rude in hanging up on me and not returning my calls. Also they lied because each said the other was doing it. I also called their main office and the operator referred me to someone I believe the namer was Mark. Just left my first name and phone number. He never called back. Terrible way to run a company.
