  I did not officially enroll in the Joyful Belly Ayurveda Practitioner Program. I paid four installments of $250 of the tuition IN ADVANCE of my submitting my application (required for acceptance). I chose to NOT attend based on the company's credibility, lack of computer programs in the certification, not being NAMA-approved, and the administration being verbally and in writing abusive and condescending. I requested the $900 back and they "claim" I am enrolled and will keep $600 PLUS take 30 days to process my refund. I have multiple emails and a disastrous phone call. The owner will NOT weigh in and ************************* is very aggressive and abusive with her words, including calling me a liar, talking over me, and accusing me of things that did not happen. ALL STUDENTS BEWARE!1. Verify if a business is on BBB.2. Obtain NUMEROUS recommendations 3. Fight for your rights even when you are bullied and degraded.I will NEVER attend this school. I most likely will never see my funds and will require a small claims court case in **********!

  We are a state licensed school and follow state policy, including state refund policy. The student will receive the $300 refund as fully disclosed in our course catalog. 
  
  We gave her a $950 scholarship. Several months later the student dropped out due to personal financial distress. She only became disgruntled after we reminded her of the refund policy. 
  
  She is now using BBB as a vehicle to defame the school's credibility, which was never a subject in previous discussions.
  
  Our 1000s of satisfied students testify to our credibility. As the most clinically comprehensive, evidence based, and innovative Ayurveda school in the west, we have published over 150 original research studies, developed the 1st Ayurveda case management system (intelligentherb.com - check it out!), provided 1000s of free articles for the public. 
  
  This clearly demonstrates our credibility and public service mindset (since 2006)
  
  There are many private Ayurveda clubs like NAMA and we belong to several including NAASC, AABC, AAPNA, and AADP. None of these clubs have any legal authority, and joining them has no effect on rights to practice.
  
  NAMA approved my school in 2020 but we declined acceptance. For details see **************************************************************************************************.
  
  While we do not recommend NAMA, graduates who wish to join them are welcome to and several have.
  
  Students love *******. Having supported over 800 applicants, ******* receives many words of praise with few exceptions.
  
  This student quit her 1st school in March, my school in June, and then enrolled in a 3rd. She threatened us repeatedly and viciously until we were forced to file a harassment complaint with her local police department.
  
  This is very sad and we hoped it would turn out differently.
  
  However, we take misuse of public media seriously, and this misrepresentation of our credibility. Accordingly we have contacted an attorney to file a wrongful defamation lawsuit against her.
