1 starStaff will talk to you in an inappropriate manner, very n**** attitude, gossip, judgmental, and will throw everyone under the bus who they don't like. So you basically will be disgraced or liked only if you play their game and do what they tell you to do. As a staff, you can't be liked by patients or families because they will look to put you in trouble. You also can't show that you could be smarter or more knowledgeable than certain people, who are hateful if you are. If they don't like you or you step on their toe, they will pushed you out of the job in some nasty and sneaky ways. Jealous and hateful, sitting and gossiping about other people! You will be watched ?? at all times! Also your conversations with other will be listen to and turned around as needed if they would want you out of the place. Horrible!Review fromMemory a

1 starPLEASE DO NOT GO TO MISSION!!!!!I went into the ** hemorrhaging due to a complication from a hysterectomy. They stated they would not perform surgery since the hysterectomy was performed at a another local hospital (******) and sent me home with cream that was supposed to clot blood. Within 4 hours I was bleeding even worse, covered from the base of my neck to the backs of my knees in blood. My husband rushed me to ******. Within a couple of hours I was crashing due to blood loss and in *****************. ****** was able to perform emergency surgery and stabilize me. I also had to receive blood transfusions due to blood loss. If it was up to Mission they would have let me bleed out, which could have been prevented if they had just done their jobs. Thank God I was not home alone after Mission released me or I may have died. I will never go to Mission again and neither will my family and friends after what I went through.Review fromAnthony C

1 starNo rating.. I have been labeled to Angel hospital because of my past drug use and it's ******** because I have some serious things going on and no one there is taking me seriously. I have no insurance so I can't just go see a physician.. and honestly I feel like it's a matter of life and death right now. I'm scared..Review fromSophie O

1 starI arrived at the hospital (Franklin ********* at approximately 9:15p after having my client transferred from her home via ambulance at approximately 7:45p The receptionist at ER was extremely RUDE and told me that they had no one there by that name WHAT? I called EMS Dispatch to confirm that was where they brought her. They confirmed that my client was left at hospital at 8:04p the RUDE Receptionist continued to argue with me that she was not here.. OMG, you LOST a whole person?? Receptionist calls Security and complains about me Really? Then Receptionist and Security tell me that EMS just arrived with my client NO WAY unless they made a stop for dinner on the way? She left the house 1.5 hours ago for a 10min ride to the hospital. I called EMS again and they verified that they were currently dropping off SOMEONE ELSE! I then call a friend of mine to discuss (whisper) what is going on. and Receptionist keeps making comments about my telephone conversation! She TOLD me to sit down!! Nurse finally comes out to tell me that they found my client and that I can go back as long as there is no yelling! Again, WHAT?? Your staff is the problem, not me! Dr came in room about 30 mins later and was very professional; explained what was going on and advised me what I needed to do. TRAIN YOUR STAFF TO HAVE RESPECT FOR OTHERS. ITS NOT LIKE WE WANT TO BE THERE! WE ARE @ THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE WE ARE SICK OR ARE THERE TO LOOK AFTER OUR LOVED ONES WHO ARE SICK!!Review fromJerry S

Not a nurse one came in the so called room we were until buzzed the nurse and ask for his pain medicine ????? Im praying they get him in a room in the morning so he can get some REST! 1 starI would leave a 0 if I could. My mom had a broken hip and we had to go to Mission Health in Asheville. She saw the orthopedic surgeon on call. This man put pins in her hip (later was told by another surgeon, she should have had a total hip replacement). The pins failed and completely destroyed her pelvis. At a follow-up visit with him, he actually told her that he did not think she would ever walk normally again. After the pins failed, we had to find someone to fix the pelvis and then put in a total hip. We did see an orthopedic surgeon in ************, ******** and we were told they could not fix it as the pelvis was destroyed and we needed a trauma surgeon. Fortunately, ************ Medical Center had a new trauma surgeon. Such an awesome surgeon. He explained everything to us and spent tons of time with my mom. He did the surgery needed and now she is walking and doing everything she needs to. Perfect hip, no infection. He did a beautiful job. Also, one nurse at Mission talked to me so rudely that he made me cry. I was running on no sleep and I was completely distraught. A nurse also made my mom cry while we were there. Needless to say, a horrible experience for us, and would not recommend it to anyone. Go the other way to *********, where in our experience, you will be treated as a person, not a number.Review fromRichard C

1 starOur daughter was seen in the ** in January of 2023. The FIRST and ONLY bill we received for this was from a collections agency and in late June of 2023. Had we received a bill from the hospital it would have been promptly paid. I find it unacceptable that the first invoice we received was via a collection agency.Review fromKenneth D

1 starReview: Mission Health - Tragic Experience Exposing Deep Flaws Our ordeal at Mission Health in Asheville, **, following my loved one's recent surgery, was deeply disappointing. The attending physician's unfamiliarity with the ER's operations caused confusion and distress. The staff seemed unaware and failed to provide updates or explanations, leaving us in the dark. My loved one was taken to an ************, and locating them was a disorganized process. A trainee's inexperienced attempts at a medical procedure caused further pain and discomfort. Throughout the ordeal, we received no explanations or informed consent, exacerbating our distress. Sadly, this distressing experience culminated in my loved one's tragic passing. The immeasurable pain shed light on deep-rooted flaws within Mission Health's operations and patient care. Urgent action is needed to rectify these issues and prevent others from enduring similar anguish. Mission Health must provide the quality care every patient deserves.
