We chose Pisgah Roofing and Restoration to both replace the windows of our home with an upgraded product and to install ****** Board siding based on Pisgah Roofings A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. We were assured by representatives of Pisgah Roofing that it was preferable for a single company to perform both installation procedures rather than hiring separate companies that would need to coordinate the two projects.On July 26 , 2023, we signed a contract with the company and made the required deposit. On August 2 the project director came to the house to discuss the work and measure for windows and materials. On November 2 the materials arrived and the next day the work started with the project director initially on hand; we then met the on-site supervisor. It was discovered that one of the required windows had not been ordered.Work began with the removal of the original siding and the installation of much of the ****** Board. We became concerned when the on-site supervisor was absent on several occasions. Our concerns grew when the various utility lines were disassembled, including the drain lines to the heat pumps, and the phone and internet lines were left, as they remain, exposed and vulnerable. We were at home throughout this time except for two half-days and November *****. During one half-day absence of ours, the crew installed a window that had arrived in error and was too large. On November 20 the crew left without warning and has not returned.To the best of our knowledge the project director has never been on site to inspect the standards of workmanship. In addition to the unfinished exterior work, three of the correctly installed windows lack interior trim and finish, and two show unacceptable workmanship. The unfinished windows constantly leak cold air. Contacting Pisgah Roofing about our many concerns has brought no meaningful response.We insist that the project director visit the site to discuss these issues with us.Business response

I have record of constant contact in our CRM with the customer. Delays were do to supply chain issues with window manufacturing and a substantial change order. Project is scheduled for completion.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: It misrepresents our situation. We have made no changes from the original plans for this project. Any changes necessary are due to Pisgah Roofing having installed the incorrect size of window in one of our bedrooms. We also disagree with the statement that Pisgah Roofing has been in constant contact with us during this process: we were given no advance notification before the arrival of materials on November 2, 2023 that work was to begin on November 3, 2023. Neither were we notified that work was to be suspended at the end of the day on November 20, 2023. Pisgah Roofing has not yet given any indication of when they expect work to resume on our project.Since our discussion with the project director on December 12, 2023 we have discovered significant problems in the workmanship. We have sent photos to Pisgah Roofing which document these problems. Before any work resumes the projector director and the site supervisor need to meet with us in order to address these problems. As stated earlier, we will not consider these issues resolved until the entire job is completed to our satisfaction.
