I tried to file a complaint a couple of times within one year and i thought that the complaint went through but it didnt. On April 18th, 2022 While on my way home from visiting my son in ************ ************** my 2006 **** Taurus Vin #1FAHP24W68G121455broke down on ** I-40 east of ******** **************. I contacted by Road side assistance on my insurance card and ***** from Recovery Tatical Services was dispatched to tow my vehicle off the highway. I waited on the side of the road for 5 hours before ***** finally arrived. He towed my Vehicle to Rice towing in ******** who was going to look at my car the next morning. ***** took me to a motel and dropped me off and said that he would give me a ride to my car the next day. I paid $113 for the motel room in ******** ** and the next day came and ***** would not give me a ride. It was determined by *********************** that my engine was blown on my car. I had to get a cab to take me to a U Haul truck that I rented to get back to ********. I went to ***** business and made an arrangement with him that he would buy my car for scrap for the amount of $200 and I agreed by shaking his hand that I would sign and mail the title to him when I got back to ********. When i got home I signed the title to the above mentioned car and sent it to ***** in the mail. I was lead to believe that ***** would send me the money $200 when he received the title but he never sent me the money. I contacted ***** by telephone and Text messages and he kept making excuses that him and his partner had a disagreement and that they split up. To this day May 30, 2023 I still have not received any payment from *****. He refuses to answer my text messages. I would like to be reimbursed the money that is owed to me.Customer response

***** from Tatical Recovery and i had an agreement for him to buy my 2006 **** Taurus on 4/18/22 in ******** ** when my vehicle broke down on the highway..We agree that h e would by my car for $200 for scrap after it was determined that my motor blew up. I sent ***** the title to my car and he has not paid me any money. I have contacted him Via telephone and Text messages and he agreed that he would pay me my monry but now he wont answer any calls or text messages and refuses to pay me my $200 that was agreed on. I would like to be re-imbursed for my loss.Initial Complaint

Service was requested on 04/28/2023 when they stole our family van ?? Horrible company! ?? SCAM ARTISTS! called ******* roadside for a tow and this is the company which they chose to complete the service request. They surely did tow my car and was paid $168.13 by ******* for the 1/2 mile tow. However, they didnt take my car to the requested destination, instead they took my vehicle to their tow yard and locked it behind their fence. They did not call me nor notify the roadside dispatch. This company then claimed I owed them $504.00 claiming the car required winching as well as the tow. This is untrue as the vehicle was located directly off the side of the street and was not stuck in anyway possible and didnt require the alleged winching. I asked for photos of the vehicle and they have to date not sent me the requested photo documentation. They were rude and highly unprofessional the entire time. Furthermore upon the pickup of the vehicle I directly spoke to the driver and he did not mention nothing about any amount being due and promised he would be dropping the vehicle off at our home, which he didnt do as I stated. After researching this further a winching service is on average $75.00-$125.00 maximum. So where did they calculate $504.00? Warning ?? do not use this company as they still to date have my vehicle and refuse to return the car they stole from our family.
