I visited the **** in **********, ** around 8/21 to purchase two batteries for my RV at a cost of $700. I spoke with ******, the area manager, and she said they did not have the batteries but looked in the system and found them. She said that ****** at another store had one and could get another from the Belmont store and I could go and pick up. I contacted ****** and several other area stores and found that they either did not have the batteries (several times the system inventory was inaccurate) or the battery they had checked bad. I contacted the **** on ************************ and spoke with ***** who ordered two new batteries and guaranteed me that they would be there on Sat, 8/27. I had a trip planned and needed the batteries no later than the 27th so I camped near the store and arrived Saturday morning to find that the batteries were not there. The assistant manager, ******* was rude and did not care about me as a customer at all. ****** was much better. They also did not have a lock that I ordered online for store pick up. I had to purchase the batteries that I did not really want from a competitor at a higher price. **** wasted 6+ hours of my time with their poor customer service. This is precious time that I would have spent with my family. I contacted ******, the area manager, again to see if **** could do anything to make things rights. She assured me that she would follow up. Three weeks later, on 9/29, I received no follow up from ****** (which is generally my experience with ****) so I called again. She barely remembered the situation and clearly customer service is not a priority for her. **** gave me the runaround, caused a lot of unnecessary frustration, and refused to make it right. This is your last chance to make things right before you lose a customer for life (along with any others that will listen to me). I am requesting follow up via phone call at ************.
