I hired ******* remodeling to repair a couple of skylights that were leaking. They gave me a quote and a time they'd be by....they did cancel the initial visit and had to reschedule, but they eventually showed up and worked on the skylights for a couple hours on April 5th. I really liked **** when he came by, he was nice, charming, and I felt at ease. When he said they were done, I paid in full immediately choosing to trust he was an upstanding person at a reputable company....I regret that.As it was impossible to check that the skylights were in fact repaired without rain, I had to wait a few days until it rained.... unfortunately when it did, it showed that the leaks were VERY not fixed, and in fact are just as bad on one, and worse on the other skylight than before the job started!I've tried reaching out to the company many times, but the last SEVEN times they said they would be by, they never showed up (usually without saying a word). Now I can't get an answer via text or phone call so I'm escalating this with BBB.Nothing was completed on the job, and in fact it's arguably even worse than before they came by!I loved **** at first, but have grown increasingly frustrated with the quality of work, the SEVEN times I've been around the house waiting for him or his team to show up only to be stood up without notice, and the refusal to answer a text or return a call. The work needs to be completed as promised (I have many texts saved I can share with thumbtack showing the estimated time to complete, as well as numerous promises of when you would be showing up) + pics/videos of before and after the job.
