***online store***AWFUL customer service! They sent moldy and squishy asparagus crowns. I notified them and sent pics immediately of what I had received, I was told it was normal and to plant them anyway. After weeks of back and forth emails and following their instruction to ***, they FINALLY offered to replace the crowns but Id have to pay an additional amount to cover their shipping cost. If they had quality checked their product before shipping them, they wouldnt have sent me moldy crowns to begin with. Why should I have to pay more to get the quality product I should have received in the first place? Never again and wouldnt recommend.Review from Bryant W

I preordered and paid for three grapevines and received one of them several weeks after the listed delivery date. After a few weeks of contacting the nursery for either the missing vines or a partial refund, I was told I would receive my other two. I contacted regularly for another two weeks without any response from the nursery.Review from Gary F

We ordered 2 bare root Malbec vines from hand picked We were given a tracking number. After watching no movement from package tracking , I tried contacting the nursery. They made it impossible to speak to a human. We were put to automation answering every time. Then we started receiving text messages from a ********** number to go to a complete different web sight to cancel our order and reorder. We chose not to be scammed and took a 58 dollar loss. I do not recommend doing buisness with hand picked.Review from Ed W

I first ordered from them from amazon back in 2018. That order was from 3 separate vendors (hand picked nursery and two others I don't want to mention) with 3 different varieties of asparagus (one from each vendor). The only ones that grew were from hand picked nursery and they all came up within about 7 days. I made a youtube video thanking them (I don't think they had social media then) and swore I would buy more in the future. Well, I ended up getting cancer and that delayed things but once again in 2022 I placed an amazon order from hand picked nursery and the asparagus I ordered are super high quality, fast shipping, packaged well, clear instructions on planting, a nice thank you card with social media links, and even a few extras of each variety (same as last time). I can't wait to get these in the ground. The ones from 2018 are thriving. I have a homestead and plan to order more from them since they sell more than just asparagus and strawberries now.
