I called several times giving my contact number. I was told they'd give to manager to call and explain why I was overcharged. My wife and I was celebrating 41 year anniversary this past weekend,October *****, staying once again at ******************. We were told by a friend in *******,** that The Square Root was the place to visit. We looked numerous times looking forward to visiting. Due to the crowd,we had to sit and eat at the bar or wait an hour and a half for a table. My wife had decided a month ago to order the Rainbow trout. She still mentions how wonderful it was. I was going to get a burger since I'm not to up to elegant dishes. The bartender said we have an ****************************************************** chalk on the wall. All the prices are on the menu was no more than 30 dollars being the Duck the most expensive. We're not in anyway eccentric. I've been in many steak restaurants and the most is usually ***** dollars for a good steak. I agreed to the prime rib but no price was posted. I ate about 2/3 since it wasn't fully cooked at medium rare,mostly rare. Nothing was said but the bartender did say something about being sorry about not being the way I ordered. I was ready to pay my **** and he gives me a check. Posting something like that and charging an outrageous price was very upsetting and definitely ruined my first night of our anniversary.When I received the ****, my remark was, you sh--- me,70 dollars for a piece of meat, You took advantage, who knows what the real price was, you stole from me in front of a lot of customers leaving me with a decision to pay any and walk out or make a scene in which I was close to doing. I want a portion of my money back. That is only fair from your deceiving ways. ************************* *********************************************************** **********
