Do NOT order from this company. I ordered a part for my Mantis composter. It was only half of what I needed.... I returned quickly with certified mail. I was told they would charge a restocking fee. Five weeks now and multiple requests to them. They are slow to respond and I'm beginning to wonder if I'll ever get my refund. This is totally unacceptable. BAD, BAD company.Gardner Response

I ordered a part for my Ryobi string trimmer. I was not given on order number, cost of item or shipping cost. Days later I was charged $12.18(not sure if that is the part cost plus shipping). I emailed to cancel the order, because no one answered any calls to the many phone numbers I tried. Then I was informed the order could not be cancelled because it was already shipped. This company probably has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. And of course,they sent the wrong part, so now I am out $12.18 for NOTHING!!! Poor, poor company. I have been in touch with Ryobi Tools to let them know just how bad this company is.Gardner Response

I ordered a small part, a bulb for my Ryobi weed eater. First, shipping was supposed to calculate before payment processed, but it did not, so I was charged $12.21 for the tiny part. Second, they sent the wrong part. Third, I called and was told they would issue a full refund ($3.44 for part and $12.21 for shipping), but that did not happen. I have called back multiple times and they never answer.Gardner Response

I receive a Kenmore Intuition BU4050 Feb 2023, last year as a gift, as March 2024 the motor nozzle has quit working, The manual says the parts are warranty fo 5 years from date of purchase, I have sent video of the vacuum and issues not working, they claim the have re order the but is back order, and they do not have a date on availability. Instead of of replacing the vacuum, which was purchased for$197.00 the agent ******** advises for me to complete a form and cut the vacuum cord and send it back to them. How stupid, that would mean the have $197 and a defective vacuum cleaner and I the customer have NOTHING!!!!THIS NOT RIGHT , MANUAL SAYS 5 YEAR WARRANTY. If the part is not available, they should replace it for equal value. I think they just do not want to value their products or customers.Gardner Response

I've Used Gardner Dixie As A Supplier For Year' Now. We All Make Mistake's. I Ordered A Hydro Gear Fan For A Zero turn, PART #*****. When I Ordered This Fan I Was Told It Was Around $7 Dollar's. I Knew The Shipping Would Be $13.99. When I Received The Fan, I Put It Up Against The Bad Fan. It Was Incorrect. I Called **** In Return's. I Spoke To Her About This Issue. She Asked, What's The Difference? I Told Her. They Are Both 6 inch Fan's, But They Fit A Certain Way. She Asked Me What Part# The Fan Was. I Told Her It's *****. Then Asked What I Received As A New Part. I told Her *****. She Said That's The Part You Ordered. If It's As Easy As Looking At The Part Number On The Bad Part. I Don't Know How It Could Be Messed Up. Then Telling Me, It Could Be The Warehouse Mess Up. I Told Her That I Wanted My $$ Back! I Told Her That I Had **** Order Me The Correct Fan's An Inline Fuel Filters. There Computer's Are Having Problem's. Then She Said There Is No Order In Here For You. **** Told Me She Was Going On Vacation An She Would Get This Straight For Me Before We Hung Up. Then **** With A Tone. I've Been Here For 14 Years. I Know What I'm Talking About. I Told Her That I Would Call Her Tomorrow When I Received My Part's. I Wasn't Going To Sit An Listen To Her.. In The Past Few Month's Gardner Dixie Has Went From A Five Star, To Zero. The Only Reason It Show's One Star It's Because They Did It, It Isn't Because I put A Star Up There. I Don't Ask For Credit Or Anything From Gardner. They Get There $$$ Right Away An Then I wait On The Part's. They Have ****, ***************************** An A few Other To Speak Of That Will Actually Help You, Other Than These Few. Watch Out They Take Your $$ An Lie To You. 0 stars here. This company gave me the worst customer experience that I have had. Unacceptably slow shipping, multiple calls to customer service were useless to get shipping info or tracking numbers. The associates answering calls had no order info and repeatedly said my order would be shipped that day. The part I needed finally did arrive after a month had passed and AFTER my call to management requesting cancellation and instructions to not ship. I will continue this miserable experience until I get a full refund, including return shipping. ** **Gardner Response

I put one star because the only positive thing I have to say is that the people I have talked to have been nice. I purchased a Mantis compost double barrel tumbler for around $1000 in July and have yet to receive all of the pieces. I have spent hours on the phone with both UPS and Gardner (each said I needed to contact the other in the beginning) and I have yet to receive the last 7 pieces to the composter. I'm extremely frustrated and want to let everyone know not to order from here!Gardner Response

I have been trying to get my refund check for many months- from a defective vacuum that was discontinued. I have tried emailing and calling with no support. I have emailed Mary who said it will take 10-14 business days but it has now been over a month since the refund check was offered. I have sent all the necessary information multiple times. This entire process has been directing me to another department and person over and over again. What is the update of my refund check? There is no one to answer this. I have been trying to get my full refund from Gardner Inc for $309.20 for a defective replacement vacuum since April 2022. I submitted the requested forms , photo and original receipt. Waited a week only to have Kyla B**** have me resubmit them again - this time I waited 3 weeks and no reply. I have since spoken with numerous call center folks like Mary E****, Jessica B***, Kyla B**** and many more to no avail, They all say that HQ handles all refunds and takes up to 3 business weeks to do so - it has been over 2 MONTHs and nothing!!! I have been waiting for this refund many months. Doris P**** was supposed to call me and give me a timeline for refund but never did. I left her multiple voice messages but no response. Purchased a Vacmaster stick VSG2101 in July 2021. Product has a 1 year warranty but also purchased a 3 year warranty. It broke in October so sought to replace item but was told the unit was discontinued and no longer available. Instructed to file Company “Vacuum Replacement Form” and would receive a purchase refund. Have continued to contact company and sent other documents they wanted to get the refund . So far as of April we have not received the refund.Gardner Response
