They sent me my first bill for lab work 5 months following service. They had the gall to put past due on the bill and demand payment immediately. While I can afford the payment, this company needs to bill on time and give patients options. I will not be returning to this lab if I can avoid it.

Why can't I leave a 0 star review? I had labwork done in February. Received a strange correspondence regarding an insurance question for a very small portion of the labwork in March that clearly indicated they sent the letter to the wrong patient, so I responded to let them know that. For some reason my labwork was separated for billing purposes into two separate services: one for a small piece and then the main labwork (not usual in my experience). For BOTH, I received invoices in ****** ********* had not even been billed for the services at that point. I actually called and spoke with a representative about the larger bill and she indicated that she need to update some information with the doctor (nothing related to insurance, which they had on file). In May, they again processed invoices for both - this time both were sent as PAST DUE invoices and they still had not submitted to insurance for processing.(?!?!?!?)In late May, I was REFUSED SERVICES because they had yet to submit the February labwork to my insurance company. They tried to force me to pay a bill I did not owe!In June, they issued a COLLECTION NOTICE for the large portion of the labwork (almost $4,000) even though they still had not billed my insurance (which covers 100% of my labwork every single time). (Again, ?!?!?)They did not submit the claim to my insurance until the end of June!To be threatened with past due invoices and sent collection notices for bills that are not due & have not been processed with insurance is HARASSMENT! I require regular labs. If someone dies because Labcorp refused services for something it screwed up, there will be repercussions! This is to document for sufficient evidence for wrongful death, malpractice, class actions, or other appropriate legal action.I actually switched to Labcorp because of these same issues with Quest. What has happened to the national labs?? This is absolutely unbelievable! A governing agency needs to step up and do something!

My wife took her mother (who has ALS) to Labcorp in ******* NC. Went inside to ask if someone could step out to the car to draw her mother's blood since it's extraordinary difficult and painfull to get her in and out of the car, not to mention my wife has broken vertebrae from a previous car wreck. There is no available wheel chair if needed nor any consideration for anyone with disabilities. Labcorps explanation for this is, safety reasons. Thanks for being health professionals, and doing nothing for our sick, elderly, and handicap. You should all be ashamed!!!!

The unprofessional staff in the ***********, IL office didn't collect enough blood sample for the needed blood test. The results came back with the followed message:"LabCorp was unable to collect sufficient specimen to perform the following test(s), and is providing the patient with re-collection instructions".I never got instructions, I never got an email, text or phone call, no apologies. I set up a new appointment this for morning, took time off again just to be turn down. They refused to do re take without an order. I specifically said it was a re collection and point out the message in the report and yet they refused to re collect the blood, to acknowledge the mistake or offer a solution.

I've been receiving notices to pay a bill from LabCorp since January which I paid! They sent me to collections stating I have a delinquent account status past due, that it is severely delinquent, a serious matter, and trying to intimidate me. I have proof I paid. Labcorp emailed me letting me know they received the payment. I have sent many emails stating I have already paid, to quit bothering me and to take me off the collection notices. This could be affecting my credit. This is a horrible company and needs to be reviewed. I sent another notice today to LabCorp telling them I already paid and that I'm reporting them to BBB.

We received a bill from LabCorp on May 14, 2024, stating our account was "PAST DUE" for the amount of $3.00. We never received any bill(s) prior to this one. I know this as a fact because we use the "informed delivery" service through the **** and it shows a scan of every piece of mail we get. During the time frame of the service provided, and the "PAST DUE" bill, there was never a bill from LabCorp that wasn't delivered. I immediately logged into our online banking and sent the the $3.00 via our bank's bill pay system. The payment system stated the payment would be sent electronically, and would arrive in 2 days. A few days later, I checked the status of the payment, and it showed that the payment was made to LabCorp on May 16, 2024 (2 days, as promised). All is good, right? Nope. This is LabCorp we're talking about... Fast forward to June 6, 2024. We receive a "Collection Notice from LabCorp" dated May 23, 2024, for the $3.00 that we already paid for on May 16, 2024. The notice is full of all sorts of threatening language like "Immediate Payment Required" and how our account is "seriously past due", they are ready to refer us to a "Third ************************ which will "potentially affect our credit score", and worst of all, they "reserve the right to refuse laboratory services" (GASP!). Oh, the HORROR! I'm guessing the payment we made hasn't made it "through their system yet" but come on... We ALWAYS pay our bills, ON TIME, when we receive them. To receive this type of threatening letter, over $3.00, that has ALREADY BEEN PAID just makes my blood boil. LabCorp is one of the most incompetent companies I have EVER dealt with. They REALLY need to fix their systems and quit being so "trigger happy" when it comes to their billing notifications. If I never have to deal with them again, it would be TOO soon. I am forced to give them 1 star, which is about 10 more that they deserve. How they remain in business is beyond me...

Awful company to deal with. The entire system is set up for the patients to accommodate labcorps bottom line for their investors. The only customer interface that works is the part where they take your money. The rest of the systems FAILS the patient. Then good luck getting your money back from these crooks when they fail to provide the service you paid for! This was a personal test that I sought out and paid for out of pocket. They sent me home and have the nerve to try to hold my money suggesting they're going to charge ME a 20% cancelation fee. I'm blown away at the level of corruption that must be required for them to have that as a leverage piece over those of us who mess up and trust them to be professionals. At this point I will demand even from my Dr that my blood test NEVER be sent to labcorp.

Fraudulent Billed me and my insurance for the same test twice. Took me over 4 months for them to filling credit the invoice. This is a HORRIBLE fraudulent company, and I filed a formal complaint with the Attorney General in the state where I live.

They are holding my money that they acknowledged 4r months ago was an overpayment 4 and pledged to refund to me. Many phone calls later, still no refund, no explanation. No way to escalate. It's really unacceptable to simply refuse to refund when the overpayment was pointed out by Labcorp and it is well documented. It's $90. I would consider my legal options if it were a greater amount. Again, this situation is why there should be a zero stars option on BBB reviews.

Labcorp is why you should be able to give zero stars. 1 star is too many for them. How they are still in business, let alone gobbling up well working labs everywhere is mind boggling. Greed and monopolies need to stop, in healthcare especially.
