They sold me an aftermarket warranty that I didnt need, nor want. They made it seem like it was a requirement. I found out from the finance company that it wasnt required to get the financing. I called Nations to get help removing the optional warranty and adjusting my monthly payments, they told me that they couldnt help. I bought the vehicle from Nations Auto, now the purchase is done, they are done with me.Business response

*************** did purchase a vehicle from ** on Feb 5th and on the day he purchased he had many questions about the service contract because he said he had a bad experience on a previous service contract and after answering the questions he said go ahead.
*************** called back on Feb 22 and spoke with ***** he asked that the service contract be taken off. ***** then explained that he would have to call his *************** and get them to remove it.
*************** called back again on Feb 23rd and told me that he called the finance company and that they removed the service contract and after they removed it he asked them how much his payment would go down. They explained that his payment would not change that they would take it off the balance. This is when he got upset because he thought the payment would go down based on the form that I attached that shows the payment amount with service contract and what if would be if he had not taken the service contract so he told me in his mind he thought the payment would go down and he could purchase one he seen on TV with the difference.
I have spent a good couple of hours on the phone with *************** and the finance company trying to see if they could add the service contract back on and they said once it is removed they can not go back in and add it back on. I made 3 seperate phone calls to the finance company on behalf of *************** and spoke with different people to see if I could get him help on this. I called him back this morning and told him what the final person told me. So to say that we would not help is totally false.
I am sorry that he feels this way but this was explained to him and you can see where he signed several documents showing this information.

I am rejecting this response because:
*** from Nations Auto has responded promptly and thoroughly and I seriously appreciate that but the point here is totally being missed and/or misdirected. I purchased the vehicle thru them , not through the creditor. I canceled **************** warranty before my first payment was even made to the finance company. There is no reason I should be paying $50 extra a month for 60 months for a product I was told I could and did cancel . *** and ****** are both very polite and professional and Id like to buy another vehicle from them again, this is my second in 20 years. I just want to be treated as a valued customer, not as a dollar sign
