I rent a mail forwarding box at the Carrboro, ** *** store. I live overseas most of the time but I am a ** citizen and own property in **. Mail forwarding is essential to me for various banking and investment reasons. Recently the management at the store has changed. Before this changeover I had no problems contacting personnel by phone or email. Now I get automated responses to emails and nobody answers the phone. Their mailbox/messages are always full.I wish to renew my mailbox subscription but I can not contact anyone at the store. I live overseas. I won't be back in the US until next year. I can not renew my subscription without direct contact with an employee/manager.This is unacceptable. A business should be available for contact by customers at all times, be it answering phones or reading emails sent without generating an automated reply. Shipped a $900.00 item on August 30, 2021, from the UPS store in ******** Plaza for $291.93. UPS damaged and returned the item without delivery to the buyer. The item is now damaged, missing parts and packing material, and cannot be sold. UPS claims the item was packaged improperly even though it was in the manufacturer's original shipping packaging. I paid UPS $291.93 to destroy my property and they have been dishonest about it from the start. The store manager ***** has told me three different times that he was in the process of resolving the claim with three different scenarios that were obviously make-believe. I can't deal directly with the business any longer since there is zero credibility.
