I have had a terrible experience with this consignment store! I brought in many items to consign prior to going on a trip to Europe. The store owner told me that I could pick up any items that had not sold when I returned. I was not able to reach her by phone, so I sent an email via the store's website. I have an email from the owner stating that there were openings to pick up the items on August 22 and August 23 and to register for an appointment on site. However, there were no openings on the website for those dates. I then emailed her via the site again stating that I could come by at noon on August 22. She then emailed me back stating that the items had already been donated, since I had had an appointment on August 16! I have the email from her with the dates mentioned above. I agree with many of the reviews that this consignment store owner is unprofessional and rude. She also lies and engages in deceptive and unfair trade practices, and I will be filing with the appropriate agencies. Frankly, I wonder if she simply kept the items for herself. Also, it is impossible to reach her by phone. What is the point of having a business if potential or current customers cannot reach you by phone? In addition, her hours are only noon to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. This is not helpful to either customers looking for items or clients consigning items. She is a horrible business person! I have had good luck with ********'s Consignment store in **** and also T** ***** ******** ** ****** ****. I would recommend these consignment stores for people selling clothing and also furniture and decorative items (********'s). I would recommend that people stay far away from Plucked!
