On March 17, 2023, I received an oral extraction from Dr. *********************** I paid the copay required by my insurance, $145.20, at this visit and another $145.20 at a previous consultation on 02/06/2023. After my surgery there was no contact from this office in regards to insurance or any outstanding payments until December 19, 2023. I received a call and a text from their billing department requesting my medical insurance information as my dental insurance was refusing to cover the cost until medical was billed. I provided the requested information the same day and sent it via email. Since sending the requested information I had received no communication from this office regarding any balance on my account or any denials from insurance. On 01/08/2024 I received a letter from TekCollect stating my balance from this office had been turned over to debt collectors. I called my insurance to see if a claim had been made by the office and they stated that the office had submitted a claim on 12/26/2023, a whole week after I provided my insurance information to the office billing department. My medical insurance denied this claim because the submission date was too far from the original date of the surgery. I have called this office multiple times to resolve this issue and they refuse to provide any type of assistance and now I risk my credit being impacted because of this.Initial Complaint

In earlt ****************************** extracted a molar. I paid the entire amount in advance. Later my insurance, Delta Dental, paid $247 directly to them. I have been trying every since to get my refund. Every time time I call the office, they tell me their system takes more time to process the refund. This is October. I have yet to receive a cheque. They don't deny they owe me, but they don't seem to be able to mail a check. I just want the money owed to me.
