I found a rental property on zillow from ************************* which was falsely advertised. When we viewed the property and showed interest we were assured to provide a list of things we saw needing to be fixed prior to move in and it would be taken care of. They requested two months deposit and first month rent. When we moved in the house was not move in ready. The hot water did not work and took days to have it repaired. Only been in the property for 32 days and the heat isnt working and it's below 30 degrees outside. Also, the house wasn't cleaned prior to move in. The garage cant be used because they have thrown all trash and broken appliances in the garage and have not removed it. Did a 30 day inspection check off list and they still haven't fixed those minor issues eitherInitial Complaint

I am a tenant of one of the properties "**** and Associates" owns. I've been in contact with ****, who oversees the operations of the property management. I had damage to flooring in my downstairs living area due to a leak. I informed the company of this issue and two months later have still not had this issue resolved. I ended up getting the local town inspector to come and file a report for this to be documented. The flooring is completed damaged and the area is not up to code or useable. I've continued to pay full rent without any monetary accommodations due to not having access to this area and having to store furniture elsewhere. **** has consistently lied about this getting fixed, about him coming to look at the damage, telling me he has someone coming out, lie after lie. The dollar amount identified is a total from the deducted space from rent and the time lost in leaving work early to meet him and or his workers that didn't show up.Initial Complaint

Kris & Associates kept most of my security deposit which $4550 was supposed to be returned but they only returned $2275, claiming we owed an additional 18 days of rent bc of the way the lease was written up which was not communicated in the beginning. They also charged us $500 for a pet, which it states in the lease pets are not allowed and I do not have a pet. They agreed that owner would write me a check and mail it to my new address in the amount of $500, still have not received it. Property was left in great condition, property manager never stated any issues were present. They have stopped responding to me in regards to the $500being returned. It has been 2 months since the lease ended and I’d like the rest of my deposit returned.
