Yes Solar was clear, affordable (as solar panel companies go!) and handled a lot of complicated stuff quickly. The only reason for the lack of a fifth star is that they have not been as helpful as I'd like in advising me on panel maintenance.

You should not even have to wash off pollen since rain will remove it. Yes solar was a excellent choice ! We received great advice and the install was painless. They installed both panels and the battery backup and they both look and perform great. We lost power one time and we would not have known had a neighbor not called to see if our power was on. Our power bill has been about 75% of what it was ever with the the short winter days and rainy days If you are seriously thinking of solar don’t decide on your installation without consulting with Yes solar

Our friend had used Yes Solar back in 2014 and their system had zero issues since installation. We asked for a quote, checked a few other quotes, and decided to move forward. From there, the process was smooth and way faster than expected! The system design was very collaborative and they went through what to expect and configured the system to meet our needs. Permits were pulled, HOA documentation created, coordination with Duke Power, everything was pulled together quickly and with barely any effort on our part.. Next thing we knew, the installation was scheduled, completed, and within another week... the system was up and running! They also installed an EV level 2 charger with a longer than usual wiring pull. We had a minor issue post install, and the team at Yes came out multiple times to make sure everything was working perfectly. The whole process was so easy and the quality was great. Very impressed.

Started our solar project just at the beginning of the pandemic. ****** walked through all the possible projected plans via zooms in detail and the plan became tailored to our needs and solar constraints. The yes solar solutions team was vital in helping us get the *********** rebate including helping petition for a second round of rebates in the summer. I recently inquired with the about adding a ***** power wall and ****** walked through all the numbers with me without trying to oversell me. In the end at this moment with our energy security and profitability of our solar plan it may not make sense for a battery backup but Thomas is willing to keep me updated with energy price changes and changes and technology costs. I'd highly recommend the team.

Late in 2020 we got bids from several vendors for a fairly large (38 panel 10 kW) residential solar system. We chose Yes Solar Solutions in part because they were by far the least expensive and more importantly because two different, very knowledgeable friends recommended them highly.
We gave them a year's electric bills from which they modeled the size of unit and explained the tradeoffs with different system sizes. They mapped our roof using a drone, coached us on the warranty options and whether to add battery backup to the package, and ordered the components. Their team of installers worked fast and did a solid job. Of course it was a bit noisy having a team pounding and drilling on the roof, but because they were so fast, the inconvenience was minimal. Yes pulled the permits and arranged for the inspection, and they tested the system. They coordinated with *********** to get a bidirectional meter installed, the last step, at which point we were able to switch it on. Finally, Yes coached us on how to apply for a substantial incentive from ***********.
In short, Yes Solar Solutions did everything for us that they could. Everyone was professional, helpful, and clearly very experienced. We couldn't be happier with their service and now, after a year of very low electric bills, we couldn't be happier with the system they designed and installed.

The company was very responsive and the work was well done, but I feel like I paid too much compared to quotes I received from other companies and from what I've heard others pay. I went with them anyway because I felt like I was getting good service.

*****, I hope you did feel like you got good service and that we earned the trust you put in us to install your project. We are the only nationally accredited company in NC, and we were the first in NC to be certified by Tesla for EV installation, for a reason. Our cost included permitting, labor, materials, inspections and warranties. We have checked with other providers and found that in general we are right in line with pricing. We do hold two electrical licenses in our company and an electrician does the installation work. Our research shows that our competitors do not always use a licensed electrician nor pull permits. If you decide to consider solar, we will offer a $500 credit toward a system. Thanks for your review and your business!
