I purchased a 2013 BMW X 5 from this company on 01/23/2023. Prior to purchase I inquired about any known engine or transmission issues. **** and ******* assured me that the to the best of their knowledge the car was free from any issues. About a week in a half later while driving it to the BMW dealership for a general diagnostic, the engine light came on. After the diagnostic it was revealed that the vehicle had almost ten thousand dollars' worth of issues associated with the engine. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the vehicle was sold to the company by ****** and super auto sales LLC, was fully aware of the engine issues when they purchased the vehicle at auction from ******. ****** appraised the vehicle, and the engine issue was present. It was also revealed that super auto sales LLC, purchased the vehicle from ****** with the engine light on. Super auto sales LLC then cleared the code prior to selling it to me. They committed fraud. I have attempted on many occasions to talk to *******, to come to an amicable solution and he is rude, dismissive and a terrible businessman. They are committing fraud and because North Carolina has no lemon laws to protect used car buyers, they are getting away with selling defective cars.
