I placed an order with them on 12/18/22 for a preorder of a product. They charged me, and stated production would begin and it would ship out later on. It took much longer than they initially stated for the product to ship, and in such time I had moved to a different address. I attempted to contact them numerous times, and attempted to change my address, and they refused. They are now shipping the product to the old address, which I do not reside at. They also refuse to issue a refund. They basically refuse to give me the product I purchased, and customer support told me to go pound sand.Initial Complaint

Company gave an estimated delivery time of 9 months, but did not deliver on that estimate and has made no attempt to remedy the situation. They have violated FTC regulations by refusing to deliber within ************************** providing a refund. They never asked if I was okay with delayed delivery and refuse to provide a refund now. They still don't have an estimated delivery time, and keep giving me the run around, stating that the item is in the preparing for shipment phase for over 3 months already. At this point, it has been 18 months since I originally placed the order, which is 9 months beyond the original estimate.Initial Complaint

To Whom It May ********* am writing to file a formal complaint against Limited Run Games concerning an unfulfilled pre-order for the product "Trip World for the Game Boy," for which I paid $106.88 on June 10th. Despite the company's policy suggesting a 4-6 month delivery timeline post-pre-order window, I have yet to receive my order or any substantial updates on its status.The absence of communication from Limited Run Games regarding the prolonged delay in shipment is not only unacceptable but also indicative of poor customer service and a disregard for consumer rights. Their ongoing claim that the product is still in production contradicts the timeline they initially provided, misleading me and possibly others, and raises concerns of false advertising.Having patiently waited beyond the reasonable expected delivery period, I am compelled to seek immediate resolution. I request that Limited Run Games promptly provide a detailed update on my order's status, including an explicit shipping date. Moreover, considering the significant inconvenience and lack of respect for consumer satisfaction, I assert that compensation is due in addition to the delivery of the product.Please be informed, should Limited Run Games not provide a satisfactory response by the end of next week, I will have no choice but to consult with a lawyer to explore legal options for obtaining redress. This measure is not one I take lightly, but it seems necessary to ensure that my consumer rights are respected and that such practices by Limited Run Games do not go unchallenged.I appreciate the BBB's assistance in facilitating a prompt and equitable resolution to this matter. On 7/18/23 and 7/19/23 I made a purchase from limited run games that totaled $53.40. 2 different orders $26.70 per order. I ordered 2 protective longbox cb cases on each order. I waited awhile and messaged them which took 3 days for them to get back to me. They messaged back and said they where working on it. I was told that I would get a email when my orders where shipped out. So I waited some more and heard nothing. I messaged again and heard nothing. Waited another week and messaged again and mentioned that I would report them to you guys if I don't get my orders. Once I did that they responded back the next day. They said they where sorry and that they would check on my orders and they would get sent out. So I waited some more. I could understand if my orders where preorders that haven't got released yet and would have to wait but these are just protective cases no preorder. I ended up messaging them again but they don't respond. Here it is just alittle over a month and still nothings been shipped out to me. My order numbers are ******* and *******.Initial Complaint

I purchased an item in Dec 2021, item was pushed back for release date. In May 2023 it's "Production Status MANUFACTURING COMPLETE"I have emailed 3 times inquiring about the shipping update as the note: "IF YOUR ITEM IS STILL PENDING SHIPMENT IT IS BECAUSE YOU HAVE ANOTHER ITEM TIED TO YOUR ORDER THAT IS NOT YET COMPLETE AND WILL BE SHIPPED OUT TOGETHER." is on the product page. This was the only product on the order. I have waited 7 days and tried calling the number (that is only a voicemail saying to email in). They will not respond.Initial Complaint

I have been contacting this company since 1/1/23 when I moved to update the shipping address of my order, I received confirmation they did just that. I was finally provided the tracking number (******************************) and noticed it is being sent to the OLD address. I contacted the company AGAIN where they told me there is nothing they can do and for me to wait 30 days after delivery to request a refund. It has been almost 9 months since I placed this order. On January 29th, 2022, I placed an order for a game (Switch Limited Run #***: ********** Girls Zero Ultimate Edition) and a collectible trading card pack (********** Girls Zero Trading Card Pack) through their site, **********************************. The website was clear enough: this was considered a 'preorder' and the item won't ship until 9 months from the end of the preorder period, which was around mid-March. It has been well over a year since then, and I haven't received any update as to when my item will be delivered. In fact, my item has yet to make its way through production. I contacted the store multiple times since January of this year about cancelling, or refunding, my order. A representative explained that because I was provided with a code for a digital item--a code I haven't used, and am unable to use--my order is ineligible for a refund, and thus cannot be cancelled. I've provided screenshots of my order receipt, the most recent string of emails I sent Limited Run Games (though as I said, I've been trying to get a refund since January of this year, and kept contacting again every few months in hopes that they'll change their mind) and a screenshot from the product's page (**********************************/products/switch-limited-run-***-river-city-girls-zero-ultimate-edition?variant=40473442451509) explaining that the item will be shipped out 9 months from when the preorder window closes. I purchased an in-stock item over a month ago, it has not shipped, and the company has not responded to four different emails (and a ******* message) asking for information about my order. I can resolve this by filing for a chargeback on my credit card, but that is an inconvenience - and some research shows that this company is terrible in general so I wanted to add my comments to the pile.Initial Complaint

I have ordered from this company roughly a month ago and the item is in stock and ready to ship. However everytime I email them someone emails back with an excuse saying they can't tell me when my order will ship ..they also billed me prior when they should be billing when the item ships ..I opened up a chargeback because there is no eta on my items and I refuse to pay for something I'm not getting. I get a response from **** over there and he's making threats to me that if I continue the dispute they will put my account on hold ...he also said if I Closed it out he would apply the 5% discount plus refund my money for shipping and the game case I ordered because they owe me the game case from a previous replacement. Now that I canceled the chargeback he's making more excuses like he doesn't know what's going on ...I NEED TO KNOW WHEN MY ORDER IS SHIPPING AND WHEN IM GOING TO RECIEVE IT ..THE ***** I ORDERED ARE NOT RARE GAMES. IM TIRED OF PLAYING GAMES WITH THESE LOSERS AND I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH THEM AGAIN THEY DONT KNOW TO TREAT CUSTOMERS THEY JUST WANT MONEY. NO ONE SHOULD EVER WAIT THIS LONG FOR A GAME .
