On or about March 29, 2022, I contacted Le Cat Cattery through a message on Instagram about their kittens. Upon corresponding with **** ****** the owner of said business we discussed her kittens and decided on purchasing 2 Sphynx kittens from her. One being female born March 31st 2002 and a Male born May 10, 2022. Price for female was agreed in 2,500.00 and Male with a multicat discount of 2,200.00. **** (breeder/owner) was very informative of keeping me updated on kittens with pictures and short videos along the way. At approximately 9 weeks of age of the female kitten I asked if she was going to post up to date pictures of the kittens at which time, she stated they were sick with 2nd eye infections that i know of and were being treated with antibiotics. I became concerned about multi eye infections at such a upung age and started questioning the breeder of the health of the kittens. Furthermore, from this same litter, she lost a male kitten at the age of approximate 6 weeks due to unknown complications. She contacted me when she was enroute to the vet and stated that kitten was lethargic, she said he possibly ate something and had it lodged. After she left the vet she contacted me and said vet didn't find anything lodged and kitten may have just ate something that didn't agree with him. At approximately 9 weeks if age when I was told about the kittens being sick yet once again with eye infections I began doing research. I contacted my vets office and spoke with other Sphynx breeders out of Florida. When I questioned **** about what was causing the infections sje stated she did not take the kittens to the vet to get a diagnosis and said she was treating them with antibiotics. Sje said it was from mother licking kittens bottoms and then their eyes. I asked for a vet diagnosis and **** then decided to refund our money. She has refunded all but 700.00. As per our contract, if the breeder calls off the sale, we are entitled to a full refund. Asking for remaining 700 00Business response
