Firstpoint collections is a legit debt collector, thats how they got me, a quick ****** search found this company as a legitimate debt collector. 1st Point Solutions is not. Didnt know the spelling/actual words at the end until they emailed me and I checked the sender email address. Was a bit distracted by them telling me I had to pay $900 or they were going to take me to court and subpoena my sister as a witness. They knew literally EVERYTHING about me. Social security number, bank account numbers, familys names, current and previous addresses, etc. Claimed they were collecting a debt for Elite Cash Wire and I took a $500 payday loan in 2019 from one of their businesses (they have multiple since they are only a middle man connecting customers to lenders) IT IS A SCAM! DONT PAY THEM A DIME!!!!! I asked for their corporate number or address, they hung up on me 7 times. Different people answered pretty much every time I called. Then told me they were filing against me for harassment One lady even said I dare you to call one more time before hanging up on me. I confirmed it was a scam by emailing Elite Cash Wire, who responded they dont have my name anywhere in their system and they dont lend money so theres absolutely no way they would send debt to a collector. I froze my credit with all 3 bureaus and reported it to my local police department. I truly hope someone else researches this company and finds this post if they get a call from them. Absolute garbage human beings. I spoke with ************************* and ***************************, Im sure those arent their actual names though. They called my father and left a voicemail from ************, called me from ***************** and the number on the email they sent me was ************.Initial Complaint

This company called me on several occasions and threatened to take me to court over a balance due of $500 from a cash advance on a payday loan from 15 years ago, which they couldnt even tell me the date. They only said the last payment made was in 2015. When I asked for proof of this debt, they could not provide it and said it would provide when I go to court. Thank goodness my credit card company caught the scam and didnt approve the charge because stupid me gave out my information but Ill be changing my debit card number tomorrow.Initial Complaint

Consistent harassing calls to me while I am at work and to my mother that lives in ********** and my wife as well. I have ask this company to send me a statement for verification that I owe this amount. They have refused. I also requested that provide a mailing address so I could send them payment via money order. They refused and demanded my bank information. I received a phone call 10/12/2023 from ********************* at 1st Choice Recovery saying I owe $840 for an online loan from Cash Net from back in 2015. I've never had a loan from Cash Net in 2015! ***** said I can settle out of court for $612 one-time payment, or I can go to court and dispute, or judgement will be brought against me, and my check will be garnished for a total of $3,788! This Cash Net has never showed on my credit report, never received calls or even heard of this place until today! I feel like this is some kind of scam. This company has called me many ********* the last few years stating I owe them money for a previous car loan. I have explained to them that I settled this account with account discovery systems, I offered to email them the letter, they refused. They threaten me that I will be served court papers but I never get them. They call me at work. I have blocked their numbers but the leave voice mail. I am tied off getting these calls for something that I do not owe.Initial Complaint

They contacted me saying I got a loan from Cash Net in 2019. Payday loans have been illegal in ** since 2019 so that couldn't have happened.
