Smoke Alert recently performed both a dryer vent and gas fireplace service for us, and we're extremely satisfied! The technician was very thorough and explained everything in detail. The gas logs weren't installed correctly by the builder - now that he's put them in the right location and cleaned the glass, the fire is much more delightful! Our dryer vents to the roof, and there was a lot of lint in the vent - he cleaned it all and the performance of the vent is now about 3x what it was. This is both safer and the clothes are drying faster (which saves energy). He also checked all of the detectors and we purchased fire extinguishers because we didn't have any in the house.Will definitely be having them perform the service next year, and then every year or two after that.Review from Teresa K

***** did an excellent job replacing my smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. He answered all my questions, left product information for future reference, checked my fire extinguishers, dryer vent and even tested my batteries for me. Smoke Alert Home Fire Safety for dryer duct cleaning. ******** called in advance and arrived on time. He gave an explanation of his service and his findings. His work was very efficient. I made an appointment to have the dryer duct cleaned. ***** arrived at 8:00 a.m., introduced himself and began his work. He immediately set up his equipment and fairly quickly cleared the *********. Toward the end, he invited me to look into the camera to see the empty duct. Impressive! When he had thoroughly finished with the dryer, he checked out our carbon monoxide monitors, fire extinguishers and fire alarm system. We had the wrong type extinguisher in the kitchen and a faulty one in one of the rooms. We also had several fire alarms past their guarantee date. Talk about an education!I recommend Smoke Alert and commend ***** on being such a pleasant, professional and highly trained technician.Review from Jen T

***** called and said they would arrive at 8:00 and they showed up exactly at 8. Both ***** and his Trainee (so sorry I've forgotten his name) were friendly, personable, efficient and knowledgeable. After completing the dryer vent cleaning they explained exactly what they did and what the results were. Based on their evaluation they said we could go to every other year for cleaning unless we noticed anything that didn't seem right.They then checked all the smoke detectors and spotted an irregularity on one which they took apart and fixed. They checked all the fire extinguishers and their expiration dates. ***** also asked about the fireplace which we don't use very often and suggested that at some point we should have it cleaned.Both technicians were excellent. This is the second time I've used them and I will continue to do so and recommend them to our neighbors. I love that they will contact me when we are due for our next cleaning. One last thing to remember.****** up for ***** and his partner and for Smoke Alert. Extremely thorough and professional.Review from Ellen T

Polished and professional. Contacted us prior to arriving with approximate ETA of their arrival. We had our dryer, located on the 2nd floor, duct cleaned out and electric fireplace serviced as well.We will definitely call upon Smoke Alert for all our home safety needs in the future.Highly recommend.Review from Sandy M

When I first purchased my home they came out & installed all new smoke detectors & cleaned the dryer vent. Three years later I called to have another dryer vent ***************** my detectors. This is a truly professional company. They know what they are doing. They show up on time, explain what they are doing, take and share pictures as they go. When finished you have the job promised done completely. I will continue to use Smoke Alert and I recommend them with confidence.
