      At this time there has not been a transaction of money.The business committed to restoring damages to my home as a result of a leaky shower pan. Tape was used on our floor as you enter the home, down the hallway, and into the master bedroom. When they removed the tape it took the finish off the floors. When I showed the damages to the project manager he apologized, admitted to the mistake, told me that the team knew better (their other team didnt make the same mistake), and that they would work to make this right; however, I just got an email saying in essence they will not accept ownership or do anything to find a resolution. There is not an account, order, or tracking number, and the issue is not related to advertising.

      To All, At this time no money has been exchanged. Also be it known that at no time has Cardinal's upper management had a chance to do a site visit or discuss a resolution before bad ****** reviews and BBB complaints were made.

      Cardinal was contracted to do a water damage claim that come from a leaking shower pan liner that had damaged some hardwood floors in an adjacent room. Like all claims we work closely with the adjusters to make sure all parties are on the same page scope wise with the demo part and repair part. So the agreed scope of the claim consisted of, replacing the leaky shower, replacing the bath floor, repairing some hardwood floors and the refinishing the hardwoods throughout the main level for matching purpose. Per our demo estimate (line item 8) it states that were are going to put a paper path from the front door to the bathroom and even per one of the text to the ** you even pulled it up one time due to an emergency. We put the paper down this way with the anticipation that the floors were being refinished per the agreement with the claims adjuster. It wasn't until once we had the bathroom repairs completed that it was decided not to refinish the floors per the agreed insurance estimate. So now the insurance company and Cardinal have to pay for the same damaged floors on the same claim? We worked it out with the adjuster to do the floors and now you want us to pay for them too. 

      If we did everything in the insurance estimate there would be no marks on the floors. 

      We are more than glad to work out a resolution that works for everyone.

      We are sending you this message because we need some help urgently. My name is ***********************. I am a Latino citizen of ****************************. And I feel I am neglected because of that. I work as a nursing assistant helping people to get better. And now I need a lot of help too!On July 12, we had a fire at our house. It destroyed our storage ************ was much smoke and water damage to the kitchen and laundry room, so they were total losses too. The rest of the house had water and smoke damage. All can be fixed or repaired.We were very distressed and disoriented after as a result of this fire. We have had to move out to temporary housing for at least 7 months. A contractor was recommended to us to make repairs to the house:Cardinal ****************************** We feel like they have delayed the repairs and restoration of our home! It was approximately 3 months from the date of the fire before we saw some repair work begin.Cardinal has a sub-contractor to pack out & store the contents of our home, and another sub-contractor to clean our clothes, ********** linens, and the electronics/small appliance items that survived the fire: Contents ********./CCI for moving and storage home contents. Prism Specialties handled the ******************* and Prism ERS handled the electronics/small appliance items. Total charged to the insurance company to date by these companies is $80,705.20 We are extremely worried about the situation because we feel Cardinal Restoration has neglected us and delayed the repairs. And we also feel this enables the sub-contactors to continue to charge the insurance company for storage of our belongings. It's like the are trying to deplete the insurance company funds & after that to start to charge us these fees.We can provide documentation and answer questions to help in investigation of this case.Please I need urgent help. This is the only house I have and I work very hard to keep and maintain my home. Thank you.

      I am sending this message in response to ******************** complaint. We are very sorry that **************** feels neglected in anyway and understand that a house fire is very stressful. We are in no way holding up this claim in any way. The only hold up we have had is the removal of the solar panels. Being the panels had just been installed and financed we were under the mercy of the solar panel installation company.  We were underway with in days of them being removed and continue with repairs daily now the roof system is back on.

       As for CCI and Prizm, they may have been refereed by Cardinal but the do not work for Cardinal in any way. The owners signed contract with CCI. CCI and Prism only work insurance claims and write their estimates on the same programs the insurance adjusters use. Which means they can only charge what is set forth by the program which is the industry standard for that region and has to be approved by the adjuster.

      We hope this answers some of the questions and eases some of the concerns, Thank you.
