I paid a deposit of $185.00 on 11/16/2023 to secure my spot for delivery of my food concession trailer. The person I completed this transaction with was (***********************). The total price for this delivery w/ deposit was $650.00. On 11/27/2023 *********************** called me and said the price changed that the driver is now requesting more money which was not in the contract that I had signed. The problem was not just the increase in price but it was also how my trailer was transported. When I spoke with *********************** I explained and expressed to him that I wanted the trailer transported on a flatbed truck. He assured me that trailer will be transported by flatbed. I received the trailer today 11/28/2023 @ 10am, however it was not delivered by flatbed it was delivered by a pickup truck. I want to be refunded back my full deposit of $185.00.Business response

Good afternoon,
I am updating yall on my complaint against Prime Auto logistics. One of the employees (***********************) contacted me through text messages today. He asked me why I filed a complaint with the BBB. My response was you know why. He try to offer me a $50 refund, thats even 1/2 the amount that I paid for the deposit that I paid directly to him. When I refused the offer he got upset and treated me. What I dont understand is that they wanted to give me a $200 discount on another shipment but was unwilling to give me a refund of $185. I will upload the text message from him to yall. Thank you for your time.
