Sent Urology Specialist a request to send my records to ************** in ************************* ********** is refusing to send records. ************ office is ******* ,**. I am a former cancer patient of ************ and have moved to Georgia. I need follow up procedures. But, office of ************ is refusing to send records.Business response

It takes a few days to gather medical records so the office did not refuse sending records to his physician in *******, they just needed a few days to process his request. The records have been sent to **************.

I am rejecting this response because: Urology specialist had the permission sheet to send records for 2 weeks. Every time I called to ask if the records have been sent I was told they had to ************** manager. The answer was always no. This is not the first time that I have had a problem with the office manager. It,s to bad it takes a complaint from the BBB to get this office manager to do something. However, thanks for finally sending the records.

I visited *********************************** @ Urology Speciialists of the Carolinas in ******, **. Jan 2021 a brief few minutes & got a ridiculous **** what my insurance didnt pay. I called their business office in ********* to set up payment plan **** of $25.00 a month. I havent missed a payment. During this time I have only received 3 statements from them but I send payment anyway & document my records I didnt receive a statement. My Jan 2022 check hasnt cleared bank as to date. I called to inquire if they even got it. I spoke with a rude, hateful, obnoxious lady that wouldnt let me talk. She would talk over me & kept saying system down. Check still hasnt cleared. Called last week to inquire again & same unprofessional lady says system down. I just paid my Feb (9th) payment with a note saying I would like a current statement & that my Jan payment hasnt cleared bank yet. I havent heard a word from anyone. I just want a monthly statement & verify theyre getting my payments. I have since moved to another county & too far to go back there. Although I cannot afford to go to this Dr anymore, I certainly dont want to deal with some of these very rude, unprofessional people! I have certainly complied as per our agreement. I also recently called the ************* where I was originally seen & rude person there said I could only talk to the business office in *********. This is the office I originally reached out to. If u would like names of these unprofessional, unhelpful people in business office, I will be more than happy to provide names!! I do not get copies of my cancelled checks but would be glad to give dates I made payments every month. However, hopefully, the business office should have all my records!Business response

Our previous practice management system that contained the information ************** was requesting was down for approximately a month. During this time we were unable to get to her information. We have since been able to, and have posted her checks. I will send a statement in the mail to her today.
