I purchased a monthly electronic subscription for $4 a month on May 23 and was charged for an annual print subscription on June 20th for $190 without providing permission for such charge. I tried contacting the company two days ago and have not heard back. I feel this transaction always fraudulent and needs to be corrected immediately.Initial Complaint

I stopped my subscription at least 5 years ago, out of the blue I am sent a subscription and they charge my card which is unbelievable given the lack of any communication in those approximately five years.Initial Complaint

I wanted to read an article that was behind the paywall. I signed up for the subscription service and then when I logged in twice, it still would not show the article - it just asked me to subscribe again. When I called to cancel and refund my money, I was told they do not refund $4 subscriptions. They certainly had no problem taking my $4 without providing me the product I subscribed to, but its quite scammy they wont refund.Business response

I purchased ONE article from biz journals for $5 last month. Was not even for me. Received email today that they had just helped themselves to $180 through my PayPal account for an annual subscription. I would never pay for the journal and there was no visible information that my $5 would entitle them to $180. Didnt know until after they stole it. I did end subscription through PayPal but I cant take my information off their site or cancel. There is no customer service link, no telephone #, anything you find about subscriptions just send you to how to buy more! Slimy, sneaky practices. I cant even find a general number. Thankfully FTC cracking down in these scams,
