    Nice place for your cat, but shady business practices. Be careful with your deposit. If you add dates to your reservation on the front end, even if they dont collect a deposit for those additional dates, they will move your 2-week cancellation window up to the new dates. Super shady and a terrible customer experience. They should at minimum let the customer know they moved the cancellation date rather than hope the customer misses the window so they can keep the deposit. Oh well, deposit lost but Ill never use them again.

I booked with them for specific dates, and... View full review CATS CRADLE Owner 19 hours ago On 3/27/24, customer made two reservations. The first reservation was for 5/11/24-5/22/24. Customer paid the 50% deposit, the cat stayed with us, no dates were updated, and the customer posted a ****** review, stating we were the "best cat boarding place we've used," which has since been updated to the one star review stating our facility is "decent."Second reservation was for 6/14/24-6/24/24. The customer paid the 50% deposit of $192.50. On 5/8/24, the customer called to update the dates to drop off 6/10 (4 days earlier). On 5/11/24, customer updated the dates again to drop off on 6/8 (2 days earlier for a total of 6 days earlier). The drop off date was now 6/8/24.?Customer canceled the stay on 5/30/24, which is less than two weeks prior to the DROP OFF DATE per our policy and the contract the customer signed.Our lack of requiring a deposit for the additional 6 days was as a courtesy to the customer and did not have any impact on the drop off date that determines the refund cut off date. If the customer had arrived on the planned date of 6/8/24, and we did not have a reservation for his cat until the original date tied to the initial deposit, I imagine he would have been quite upset.Per our policy and the contract the customer signed, this customer is not due a refund.We are a small business with only 19 rooms and 4 extra condos for busy times. We had a space reserved for his cat from 6/8/24-6/24/24, and he canceled on 5/30/24, which is less than two weeks prior to the DROP OFF DATE, which was to be 6/8/24.We take a deposit to ensure we don't lose even more money especially during busy times when we could have filled that space with another client's cat(s).We stand by our decision and encourage existing and potential clients to read our reviews on ****** and to ask questions if there are any unclear statements in our policies and contract.
