Upon receiving an itemized receipt for Dog Grooming Services April 22, 2023, I noticed the establishment charged me $80.00 for my dogs grooming appointment. NOTE: This $80.00 fee is for a dog that weighs 21 - 40 pounds, store policy. The pug/chihuahua mix in question weighs approx 14 pounds. I asked if the employee weighed the dog and she stated "No. I went off what you have always been charged..." the last 18 months. For 18 months they billed me wrong and never in a million years did I suspect this. Its only recently since they changed their check out process do you see itemized charges ...Further noting the dog in question also gets groomed with my other dog that weighs **** pounds according to their scale. By no means do these dogs look the same size, so there should have been no confusion... completely intentional and very shadyBusiness response

As soon as this matter was brought to our attention, we thoroughly investigated all charges and found the pup in question was overcharged by $10 on 3 occasions (once in Oct 2022, once in January 2023, and the date in question, April 2023). We communicated this to the owner, apologized for the mistake and refunded the $30 immediately. It is not, nor ever was, our intention to deceive or intentionally overcharge.Customer response

I had my dog, ******* take a **************** at Woof Gang Bakery on Friday, January 27 2023. The next day, I found ****** always licking his sanitary area, then I found that part red and swollen, apparently having an infection. Experienced before, a few months ago at another vendor, I know that this was caused by an injury of the s****** skin due to over shaving and maybe a cut causing infection. I took ****** back to the store today, Tuesday Jan 31, talking to the manager, ******. She refused to admit responsibility by saying that ****** has sensitive skin since it happened at another place before. I can not accept this saying because the incidence at another place before was caused by a cut or burning, apparently a wrong-doing of the broomer, and it does not mean that it is my dogs fault being infected by a similar wrong-doing at Woof Gang Bakery. The dog never gets an infection around the sanitary area if he does not have a cut during Brooming. Due to the mean attitude of ******, I was asking for a refund of $70 I paid for the Brooming plus $10 tip. ****** definitely refuse it.
