I purchased installation of the Ring doorbell and flood cameras for a second property in September 2022. On September 24, 2022, a technician from MasTec Advanced Technologies was subcontracted to provide the installation service, unbeknownst to me. When the technician was on the property, he removed the existing doorbell to replace it with the Ring doorbell when he snapped the wiring inside the doorframe making it impossible to complete the work without removing the entire doorframe which he was not qualified to do. This work required me hiring an electrician to fix. I contacted the company and provided the invoice of the repair. Their claims adjuster indicated to me that my claim had been approved; however I also demanded painting costs which I estimated at approximately $250. The adjuster indicated on October 24, 2022 that she would refer the demand for painting services for approval. This portion of the claim is still outstanding and I have not gotten a response. I still have not been compensated to date.Initial Complaint

I've had numerous appointments(9) made for a DirecTv technician(from Mastec) to come align my dish and they never show up. I get texts stating the techs are on their way and they don't show up. DirecTv just keeps rescheduling with these technicians who have me sitting around waiting for a visit that never happens. Mastec has no accountability or supervision for these technicians. I still have no service and the only solution DirecTv has for me is to make another appointment for a Mastec technician to come. Mastec and DirecTv both claim Not to have any supervisors/managers available to assist. I've paid my **** in full every month and even purchased the coverage for equipment. I just want a tech to restore my service....it's been 4 months of back and forth already.
