My son went to Harmony Recovery for two nights, February *****, 2024, for mental health treatment. This program was not the best option for my son, so I went to get him. After only two days, the facility lost the medications he arrived with. They said they were not able to find them. On February 27, I spoke with ***************************, Alumni and Family *******, and inquired about ********'s medication. I also brought up that I had called Harmony Recovery multiple times about why they had not filed the claim on my insurance yet because I needed an EOB for documentation for my employer because some of the money I used to pay the $1287 fee required to admit him, was paid using my FSA card. Harmony Recovery finally filed the claim in March. The email below was sent on April 2nd after speaking with the insurance representative at Harmony Recovery. He said that he could not see where I made a payment prior to my son's admission, so he would have to talk to the admissions team. My son has received a bill from Harmony Recovery Center with a balance of $1040 to pay. However, the total charges of $1250 plus the processing fee of $37 ($1287 total price) that I paid on February 15, 2024, are not reflected on the statement. Since I have already paid $1250 toward the statement, there will be a remaining credit of $210. Please let me know if you have any questions or need additional documentation. There was no response. I called again, and he said he forgot to talk with the admissions team, but he would do so. There was no callback. Nothing. I tried calling admissions several times and kept getting voicemail or being sent back to the same insurance guy who did not answer the phone. On April 17, *************************** told me to call the number on the Harmony Recovery bill to see if they credited my account for the money I paid. No response. On May 6th, a lady named ****** called, and we discussed the situation. She said she would look into it. Still no response.
