Hello, This complaint is in regards to Bestway refusing to provide me with a billing statement or records to indicate the charges on my account. When I first started renting, I paid on time every 2 weeks with no issue. I was also a previous customer and paid everything on time with no issues. my regular payment was $97.68. I was past due one week due to unexpected expenses with my job. I called to inform Bestway my reason for being late and offered to pay something since I could not pay the full balance. ******* (bestway) agreed and said that I would still owe the past due (understandable). The following week I received a text message stating that I owe $156 and to send the last 4 of my card number. I proceeded to send the last 4 so I could make a payment of 156. They only took $107. When I inquired about them only taking $107, they text back and said the system doesnt know to take out $156 and you should have called our office to make a payment. That didnt make since since I always pay by sending last 4 of card number and the payment comes out. Each week a different amount is owed on the account and I have requested to have a pdf statement of my charges so that I can understand why my bill keeps jumping from different amounts. The manager proceeded to tell me via text that she is not sending any documents thats what the text messages are for. Numerous times I have asked for a bill to outline my charges and continue to get threatening text messages regarding my account and refusal of not sending me a statement. I have no issue making a payment but I need something showing what Im paying because they can say I owe any random number. This seems very sketch and I would like this to be resolved so they can stop harassing me. They also mentioned my card declined Ive provided documentation of my available balance when they were suppose to charge $156 instead they charged $107. But the text messages say they only charged $104. This is a very shady system.
