Regal Roofing replaced our roof (and accidentally our guest house roof) less than 2 years ago. It almost immediately began to leak in many places it did not leak before causing significant interior damage. We tried to make the company aware that an inadequate crew (hired just to do our job per the project manager) were clearly incapable, messy, starting fights on our property, etc. and that it looked like a problem. The project manager has since been fired. The company has been completely unwilling to address the problems which are mounting--we now have a garage caving in from roof leaks. We have had at least 4 different contractors to examine the issues, and they all confirm that the roof is a disaster. We will have to file an action in court.Business response

Her project was completed by the only crew and ******* we've used on every job since 2013, **************************
There was no "fighting", and no one on the crew had been "fired" for any reason.
We were hired to replace the asphalt shingle roof system because the insurance carrier paid for that specific work. Prior to the construction of the project we pointed out to ***** that her leaks would continue if she did not replace the extremely rotted siding and rusted out chimney pan. She opted not to perform that work because it would have cost her $ out of pocket, since the insurance does not pay for rot or rust.
The exterior of her home then continued to leak as we had explained. We did our due diligence and went to the property multiple times to perform leak tests and the only problem areas were with the siding and chimney pan, as we had previously pointed out.
She refused to believe us because she is not a nice person. We explained to her that we would allow her to hire an engineer of her choice to meet us and review the work and if any liability was on us we agreed to pay the engineer's bill and address whatever the engineer pointed out. She refused to do that because she didn't want to potentially pay the engineer's bill if she was wrong. LOL. She then INSISTED that we hire and pay for an engineer, and we did, simply to avoid the negative online campaign she threatened against us (which it seems we didn't, LOL), and we paid the engineer $1500. I have attached the report.
She, of course, insists that this engineer is biased toward us and alleges that she has "multiple professionals" that will support her position. I have requested to speak with any of them but miraculously they don't seem to exist.
We have nothing more for her. She is a terrible person, and if she doesn't cease her ridiculous behavior she will find herself entangled in a defamation suit.
