      Contract date 4/17/23. Completion date 4/28/23. Front window shutters to be replaced with hunter green shutters. ***** and **** kept saying they were on order. ****** later said they finally received them and were going to pickup and advise on installation date. *** sent numerous emails, the last one dated January ******************************* refund of shutter money and to date no reply. I gave them 10 days to respond and no reply. I've called and only get promises and no action. They also agreed to repair and paint ceiling where the roof leaked on the day they tore the old roof off and it was raining so hard, for so long, they couldnt put the new roof on until the following day. **** has continuously advised theyd send someone to repair and paint the ceiling yet nothing! Its coming up on a year and I want this resolved and am praying the BBB can help me, please. I have all documentation for all Ive stated above.

      We have recently sent a representative out to revisit and resolve all issues that the homeowner is having.  We are very sorry for the delays.  The shutters that we ordered and were in fact delayed did arrive, damaged. They were reordered and we have them on the schedule to be installed this coming week.  In regards to the leak, the homeowner did not make us aware of the leak and damage for over a month after the installation.  We did additional exterior work for the home and discounted the amount by 50% as we felt this was the right thing to do. 

      We will ensure that the home is safe and secure and that any visible damage associated with the roof installation will be addressed.  We appreciate ******************** patience through all of this.

      We contracted with company on 4/17/2023 to repair the roof. We made a down payment of $4825. The roof is not repaired. We have contacted the company numerous times through out the first couple of months with no response. We are in communication now but they keep cancelling appointments and missing meetings to discuss status.

      Valiant was out and made the repair per the contract. We have also made numerous calls to the contact person at the facility, *****. We continually get the voicemail but luckily got through yesterday. 

      As pointed out on many occasions to the company, the roof is in desperate need of a full roof repair.  We offered this option but they chose to only go with the repair. As we often explain to our commercial clients with flat roofs, the water has found its way (very common) to come through other areas of the roof.  *********** it ends up costing the client more money to continually make repairs.  Valiant will be meeting with ***** to go back out and revisit this ongoing issue. 

      We want to ensure we resolve all of the water issues plaguing the roof.

      Replacement windows for my home were installed and completed on April 21, 2022. One window glass was cracked. It is unclear whether the glass was cracked during delivery or installation. I was assured by management that the damaged window would be replaced in a timely manner. After six months of waiting and numerous attempts to call the company, an e-mail was finally sent by *************************, Valiant Manager, approximately two months ago. It stated that a "crew" would contact me within two weeks to arrange replacing the window. As of this date, I have not received any communication from the so called "crew" or the company. Also, there is a question about the window warranty. I was informed by the manager that the warranty certificate process would be completed upon replacing the damaged window. As of this date, the warranty issue has not been resolved.

      We are sorry about the delay with assessing the problem.  We have made attempts to meet with the Bruners. We were hoping to receive pictures of the damaged window to help with the assessment process. Not a problem, Our crew member (*****) will be able to meet and assess the damage to allow for us to make the next move. He will be contacting you this week!

      I have all of your warranty paperwork which I can fill them out for you!  There is a lifetime warranty for the windows and 5 year labor warranty with Valiant. We look forward to getting everything resolved for the Bruners.

      I am rejecting this response because:   Valiant has not made numerous attempts to meet with me.   Upon original installation of the damaged window I was informed that a new window would be ordered by Valiant.   I was not told to take pictures of the damaged window.   I have not heard from ***********   Valiant knew of the damage when the window was originally installed.   I hope it is true that the warranty information will be provided to me.

      Valiant Roofing installed roof in our newly purchased home. When we attempted to insure the house, the insurance agency refused to insure it because the roof was curling. It turned out, Valiant Roofing sold us radiant barrier that they did not know how to install. They installed it overlapping creating buckling effect. After many calls, they eventually showed up and slapped something over. The roof continues to curl. All curls are visually observed. However, our troubles with this company did not end there. They installed one sky light. It leaks. After never hearing back from Valiant Roofing, we invited an inspector from the skylight manufacture. We have pictures of an improperly installed skylight. Every time it rains, the damages to our roof, our attic and our bathroom are increasing because we cannot get even a call back from Valiant Roofing. I do not know how they got certified with BBB. When I was signing a contract with the company, I made sure they were shown as reputable company on BBB, Now I need your help in getting this company pay for proper installation of my skylight. I do not want this company back on my property. They bring more damage than fix. They must reimburse me for the PROPER installation of skylight. Additionally, they need to compensate the cost of remediation of the damage from the leak. Thank you. I am on the lookout to hear back from you. *********************

      We have been in constant communication with the Galeks since they reached out about the first problem.  We did not improperly install the radiant barrier. We do this on a daily basis and have never had issues.

      In regards to the skylight, the Galeks state that an Inspector from the Skylight manufacturer looked at the skylight and that the skylight was installed improperly. Again, we install skylights on a regular basis.  It was determined by our installation crew and sales team that the Skylight is actually faulty and cracked. We caulked the crack and have ordered a new skylight from a different manufacturer. If you check with ************** he has informed us that other people he knows have had issues with the exact same skylight manufacturer and that he was unable to get the attention of the manufacturer.  We had had many storms since the initial installation of the Galeks roof in April of 2021 also. Valiant cannot be blamed for the defective skylight however we want to be sure they are happy.  We are now just waiting on the new skylight so that we can install it.

      Hired this company to build a walkway/deck for me. Aside from the delays and false promises, the work was finally completed after several months of delays. They claimed to have a labor warranty for any issues. I've noticed several issues with the construction and am asking for them to be rectified. I have not been able to get a hold of anyone at this company. Main number on file gives busy/disconnected tones.

      Not sure what **** means about not being able to get a hold of anyone at our company.  He has all of the phone numbers and e-mail addresses.  ************* Director's phone number did get hacked and we had to change that one number.  **** could have called or e-mailed any of ** with any problems he was experiencing with the install.  Valiant claims to have labor warranty because we do. We always stand by our manufacturer and labor warranties.  The minute we find out about a problem, we send one of our team members to inspect the issue.  We have not been avoiding ***************  I wish he had reached out to me directly, at least by e-mail with his photos.

      We will give him a call to schedule a time for us to meet.

      On October 26, 2022, I received a proposal estimate ($4650) from Valiant Roofing (*************************) to replace the cedar siding on one side of my parents (recent Air Force Veteran widow) residence. On November 15, 2022, I accepted the proposal, signed the contract (w/***************************) and sent the required 50% ($2325) deposit check. I did request and received confirmation of payment from Valiant (*************************) on November 25, 2022. The money was withdrawn from my checking account on December 3, 2022.After signing the contract with Valiant on November 15th, no services, communication or commitment on scheduling of work has been provided to me. During a conversation with Valiant (*************************) on the same date, I was told the job will not be scheduled/completed by Thanksgiving, November 24, 2022. However, the job should be completed by Christmas, December 25, 2022. As December 29th, two months since proposal, no contact has been made to me on a scheduled start work date. I have sent over 20 emails and left repeated voice mails. I did receive two calls and no email responses over the period from Valiant-still with no planned date to start work or a reason for the delay.As a result of total negligence to our contractual agreement, I requested a full refund of my deposit ($2325) from Valiant on December 15th. As expected, there still has not been an email response from Valiant to date. I have no confidence in Valiant being able to meet the terms of our contract. Therefore, any assistance from the BBB in this process will be greatly appreciated. I do plan to pursue all options afforded me as a consumer.

      We are sorry that ************** is unhappy and has not responded to our calls or e-mails these past two weeks to schedule the installation.  His materials had to be special ordered. We tried to follow through on the install over the past two weeks (based on our correspondence). ************** does not want to proceed. The weather, holidays and special order nature of the materials contributed to the delay.  We have put it in our production schedule and need ************** to confirm the date for it.  A refund is not possible since the materials had to be special ordered,   Thank you.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      The Valiant response was not accurate. I have not received any email responses from the company since November 2022 (over two months). That was an email from ************************* confirming receipt of my deposit payment.

       

      Due to the lack of communication from the company, I have requested only email correspondence to ensure nothing has been missed. They have declined to do so. I am sure their recent response is only a result of the BBB inquiry.

       

      Therefore, due to the continued lack of integrity and negligence of this contract, I am still requesting a full refund on my deposit ($2325). I have not received any services to date. This is the first I have heard of these delay issues.

       

      While I made the initial mistake of entering into a contract with Valiant, I have read through the other BBB reviews where their negligence and inability to follow through and follow up on services when problems arise.  

       

      In closing, I feel investing any additional time and money with this company will be a mistake. I am seeking a full refund of my deposit.

      As mentioned in previous correspondence, we are sorry that ************** is unhappy and has not responded back to us to schedule the installation. 

      We do not want to trespass on his property and need confirmation on when we can schedule our crew.  Hopefully he will respond to our e-mail and voice message very soon.  We are continually having to work with Mother Nature to plan our projects the best that we can.

      A refund is not possible since the materials were special ordered,

      Contracted with Valiant to provide a roof and LP siding to my house. We made a down payment of $12,700.00 on May 12, 2022. We waited patiently and then the roof was complete in July 2022 and on August 11, 2022 we paid the remaining balance for the roof of $3,690.00. Since then the roof has not been inspected. As to the siding, we have had multiple conversations and unreturned calls. Promises that they will come by or call that are never followed through. My wife is ready to go in a new direction. We want our money back. We are tired of the runaround. Prepared to proceed with legal, social media, and Action 9 if we have to. It appears we trusted the wrong company and regret the time wasted.

      On May 18th, 2021 we signed a contact with Valiant Roofing for a siding project. We paid a deposit of $3,087.50 on May 19th Since this time we have been in constant contact with ************************* (manager) on start date of the project, asking for status updates on the project. We were eventually told that the project would be completed in September. On Monday October 3rd, we contacted ************************* (by phone) asking for an update/or our deposit back. That day, the project manager unannounced showed up at our to house to do "final measurements." **** then returned my call to inform me that the project would start this week. Since then we have called **** each day and left voicemails, without a returned call or email.

      We have been in touch with the ***********.  Different team members have been on site and we provided updates as soon as we had the information on the install date. We are happy to report that the project will begin within the next few days - starting with the materials being dropped off with the install team beginning shortly afterwards.  We did move the start date from a Wednesday to a Monday as to not add extra inconvenience to the family. This install will take 4-5 days as it is best to complete the job Monday - Friday.   Thank you. *************************

      March 28, 2022 Pymt $8,340 Contracted with Valient for Siding on my home at ***********************************************************. Keep being told that siding is on back order. I have requeated cancellation and a refund but have been told they will not do so. This company is a fraud and should be put out of business. I have attached contract copy of payment and a string of emails. Let me know what rlse I need to do. Thanks

      We are sorry it has taken the materials longer to get here than anticipated.  We hate having the delays as much as ****************** does.

      Siding materials are custom ordered and cannot be returned or refunded.  Our company is not a fraud. We have a dedicated Marketing Director, sales force and installation team.  We are still here, dedicated to working day in and day out on many ongoing projects.
