I have made several calls, sent emails and left several SMS messages for the company, (******************************* to be specfic) over the past month and have yet to receive any response. I am looking to have my panels inspected to ensure they are sufficient for my house as I am not seeing much benefit from them, especially in the winter months. I have been in touch with my electric supplier and was advised to have the panels inspected as it appears as though they my not be facing the right direction.

      Hello,

We are sorry to hear you had questions and had a hard time getting in contact with us. As explained to you on the phone last week (the same day this complaint was filed unknowingly)- I explained that ****** no longer works for the company, our office line does not get text messages like it used to before we changed providers, and during the phone service swaps we were missing several calls thru out the 72 hour porting period. As explained on the phone as well, the panels have produced consistently over the years we checked for your monitoring- you usage has increaded by 20-30% over the years as well. You interest in purchasing a battery or more panels would not help lower your bill efficiently just for when needed during your peak winter usage, it seems like most other months its the right size production for your consumption. Some other topics and recommendations were talkd about on our call last week and it seems like you were satisfied after talking to me on the phone- so I assume this complaint was made before discussing all your concerns over the phone. Again, we're sorry there was a small time period we had phone line issues- and you were not able to get a hold of your initial representative who no longer works for the company the past 3 months... but please be sure to let us know if you need anything else in the future. the best number to call (not text) ************. Be sure to leave a voicemail if needed. Best email to contact *******************************

      Thanks,

i have solar panels installed from RSRV power. for past couple of months i am getting some alerts stating there is an issue with the inverter. RSRV is not answering the phone calls and responded via email that this is a grid issue not their system. however if it was grid related my neighbors on both the sides should have the same issue since they have the same system but no one is getting this alerts except me. RSRV keeps pushing back to come out and look at the issue. It's been just 2 years and i am having issue that they are not coming out to fix. i can't imagine in future if i have the issue what i will do.

      Hello,

When we were first told about the alert received we did have an installer go out and check the system for the grid voltage alert and follow the recommended manufacture troubleshooting guide. Making sure the settings on the inverter for location was correct, wire sizing and distance correct, and all readings checked. The alerts specifically say "GRID" under category. The few that say equipment, are inverter production error detected, but no error code or sign of the system not producing to keep the error active. Often times this can happen when the grid gets an abnormal spike of electricity and an alert is automated, and then clears itself out if it isn't continuous. As for the inverter production alert, this can be caused on days with minimal production (such as rainy days with limited sun to produce power. We are aware of the alerts, but unless they don't clear themselves, as they have been, and there is no error code associated with an alert that last more than 72 hours... we are not able to process any warranty claims with the manufacture.

The system shows it has been producing power as expected the entire time, and non loss of generation due to the alerts which have all resolved themselves according to the solar monitoring app.

If there is alert in the future with an "equipment" error, that does not resolve itself on the monitoring portal within ************************************** production from inverter is off- we are happy to come out once again and proceed with a warranty claim- however, there is no valid warranty claim currently active on the account just because the system alerts you there was irregularity detected from the grid.

      Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because:
The same response i am getting again and again not getting the issue resolved. i found out that there was another customer in other community had inverter replaced.

again if this was grid issue i should not be the only one getting the alerts and not my neighbors with same system. i strongly believe that i have faulty system installed and my complains are being ignored. The grid cannot be operating abnormally for four+ months and causing issue to only one inverter. this also can lead to larger issue in future. i am sure if this not being taken care of now, in future also i will face the same issue with installer.

I believe this company is out to scam the elderly and commit Financial Elder Abuse RSRV Power misrepresents the terms of the loan when we signing on to have Solar added to your house. My husband and I are retired and on a fixed income. We get under 24K a year. When signing on **** ***** explained to me the information about a loan. The loan will stay at $202 a month but we had to turn over the 26% federal government rebate and the 25% state rebate within the first 18 months of the loan. We would get half the rebate in each of the next 2 years from IRS and the state amount will take up to 10 years to get total refund. If the loan company didn’t get the amount of the refund within the first 18 months then my monthly loan payment will go up to $280 which is about 38% increase. When I called the loan company with concerns with the 18 months to turn over the rebates, they told me I had to talk to ****. I sent **** a Notice Of Cancelation request on 3/29/2021 because I cannot afford the $280 month. **** called me and insured me that I would have the rebate from federal within the 18 months period. 50 Solar panels were put on my property and we went online 9/2021 So I am paying the $202 for a few months along with paying Duke Energy to keep me on line. That is about $12 a month. Now I am getting bills from Duke Energy for $75 one month. The next month $180 and the next month $36. Plus the loan. This is more then I would pay a month if I had just stayed with Duke Energy. As I stated earlier my husband and I are retired and on a fixed income. I am trying to do my part to help save the earth but I believe this company has taken advantage of use and misrepresenting the way the program works .

      To whom it may concern,

According to the notes on the account this customer requested to cancel after determining it would take them 2 tax filings to utilize the total credit. Instead of canceling we suggested we delay the install to give them enough time to file their taxes twice since thats what they determined they needed. The finance company also does a recorded welcome call with customer and explains to them that these amounts are not guaranteed and in our contract the customer initials that they understand these amounts are not guaranteed. In no way did we take advantage of the elderly or any other person interested in solar. There was multiple visits with the customer and they had a ton of questions taking over a month to get them signed up. In no way do we offer tax advise and always suggest they speak to a CPA if they have specific questions to their tax situation. On the positive side the system is producing just like we estimated it would produce and the installation looks amazing.

      Sincerely,
