On 5 April I scheduled service work on my solar panel inverter. The specialist arrived and after performing a diagnostic, I was told that my circuit breaker box needs to be replaced. The Specialist left and I was contacted 20 April by a Sun Services rep stating that I would be contacted later for scheduling of next appointment. Now mind you service calls cost $499 for each visit, which is absurd considering the service job is not complete. So basically they will come down and perform a diagnostic ($499) then tell you they don't have the parts to repair your issue. So then you have to schedule another visit ($499). That's just one issue I have. My main issue is it's been over a month and I've yet to be contacted for scheduling to repair/replace my circuit box. I sent a text message 11 May, **************, asking what is the status on the circuit box installation for my home. I received a response on ************************************************************* for scheduling once they receive an update. As I have stated it's been over a month and no one has contacted me to schedule another visit. Additionally, there's no ticketing system or ticket number given to the customer to follow up or inquire about unfinished jobs. I call or text and get the same response "someone will call me to schedule a date". Is there only one technician for the entire state who performs solar service repair? As of right now I cannot use my solar because the technician told me to turn off the circuit box for safety reasons (,ie possible fire due to damage inside box). So I'm using commercial power which is costing me more versus using my solar which would cost me a whole lot less.
